How many slaloming runs did their attackers go on? If we'd had an Ndidi or a Kante type of DM -- or a fullback capable of defending pacey wingers -- then 75% of Wolves' most threatening attacks would have been cut off at the source. I personally don't blame Jose for the fact that the midfield was massive gaping hole that they ran through at will, as he hasn't got a player in the entire squad capable of fixing it. And I can't blame him for the fact that Davies was eaten alive, as he's got no other option at LB. Overall we played decent football, scored two goals, and mistakes from defenders cost us.

Wolves are arguably (I'd say definitely) a much better team than us at the moment and that's down to the fact that their recruitment has been miles ahead of our own in recent years. Poch had it right when he said we were facing a painful rebuild. Simply too many problems in the squad to paper over, especially with Kane, Son, and Lamela all unavailable.

night and day between 1st and 2nd half.

We have so many problems that are rooted in 12 - 18 months of issues

if we miss the CL, imagine what budget we'll have - who will we sell to fund the rebuild?

I feel the issues at spurs start at the top

Mate relax. Just sit back a rely on our world class scouting of younger bargains out there in the football world...

Moussa Dembele leaving the club has broken it?

This club has sleepwalked into this fucking mess on the pitch.

We've been left with an ageing, ill disciplined, or slow set of defenders, who put in any formation can't to do the job anymore. If it were possible, and I had any confidence we'd buy decent quality, I'd be fine with getting shot of most of em'.
Eric Bailly - £34m
Victor Lindelod - £31.5m
Diogo Dalot - £20m.

A total of over £85m on shockingly bad defenders, at which point he moaned about not having money to sign defenders. We've got a problem, and we've also got just who we need to make it far, far worse.

I’m so bored of this. Can’t blame lack of strikers today as we scored 2 goals. Can’t blame verts and Toby today as they weren’t on the pitch. We’ve fallen so far. I hope this is temporary. As I can’t go back to the dark days of the 90’s and 00’s

Have seen enough on Winks, several times we lost the ball at midfield he just jogged back. Also, everytime when he got the ball he took at least 3 Sec to make a sideway pass.

We do. Oliver Skipp. Who bossed it against Wolves away previously, but has barely been seen since Mourinho came in.

Let's face it, with Son and Kane we were still shocking because we can't defend. Every bit of good work we do in attack is outdone by the appalling defending. It doesn't matter who we have up top when the opposition can carry the ball so far without a tackle coming in.

Are they missing or not? We could bang on all day about certain players and wether or not they deserve a mention but they are missing and I did say some of it was up for debate. A fit Wanyama would be in the team and so would nearly all the others. Writing it off as 'hardly any players missing' is ridiculous. Concentrate on that instead of the sideshow stuff.

I only ever venture in here after the result I'd rather watch the match in hope of some excitement which was last seen v Ajax last 15 mins

Poch should have done something about it - and earlier - he don’t walk away Scott free. in fact, fuck him, didn’t even want to be here at the end

Apologies.

They paid money to moan about paying money ... The point stands.

No, they paid money to watch their team play. The quality of that team has been disappointing; they’ve expressed that disappointment here, on a message board where others agree with them.

I’m not sure what your point is, but I’m curious to understand what they’ve said to earn such derision and scorn from you

Its true but he is extremely talented, gives all, good defensively and pushing the ball around. Has vision.Changes direction when he needs to etc
Ill take that. Also nobody is running into space so the options havent been good.

He is all of that, and people digging out his goals/assists tally is unfair, but he also wastes a considerable amount of ball in all truth. It's all well and good 'trying to do something' and I bet most of the fans love it, but umpteen times a game he tries to do something/force a pass that is never, ever, ever, ever, everrrrr on and just gives the ball away.

Of course you don't want everyone playing safe, but as the main conductor of the team you have to be tip top in your decision making and resist the urge to always force play, especially in the final third. At the moment if he was an opposition player I wouldn't be overly worried about him, keep him contained and he'll give you the ball back quite quickly trying to force the ambitious.

According to transfermarkt Skipp has played a grand total of 519 minutes of senior football in his career. If a teenager with less than six matches' worth of minutes under his belt is the only option you have available to solve the biggest tactical problem facing the team, then that's a problem with the squad and not with the manager.

Do we not do tactical fouls? Jota ran down the whole left side of the pitch and some fucker should have taken him out and got a yellow.
