We are so narrow all the time, one of the big problems is the wingers, back in the summer when all the videos breaking down Ange's style of football were coming out it was highlighted there, inverted wingers and inverted fullbacks are the root cause, he needs wingers who hug the touchline and spread the defence out

Werner not scoring was huge. A goal in the first half would have really changed the flow of the game. They get in at 0-0 and the confidence they will take from that will be massive. Need to score either side of half time.

Also, as much as I love a redemption ark and I want Werner to come good, I feel he’s not affected the game very much in this first half. Having said that I did miss the first 15, so perhaps he did some good stuff then?

Someone has got to be able to beat a man to create openings in games like these. Bit of space found by Werner but you have to eliminate opposing players either via a dribble or quick forward passing.

Cant trot out the excuse about missing Porro, every club has injured players. One player shouldn’t mean we struggle to breakdown Palace

Have to say I am a bit disappointed. We've been miles off it lately and I was really hoping to see some improvements following the last two weeks.

Certain players look like different people to the ones who played in the first ten or so games. I know injuries and internationals have hurt us but we look a bit lost atm for me.

I thought that the idea was to have wide forwards isolated out wide vs the oppo’s full backs
Unfortunately our wide forwards aren’t really dribbly types.
plenty of talent in midfield for us, but doesn’t seem to be able to create or dictate tempo right now.
