Some of our passing has been nothing short of abysmal.

I think it's a lot to do with the movement and shape of the teams as well. First 30 mins other teams have no idea what's going on and get caught out with the unusual movement patterns. After 30 mins they get used to it and can put pressure back on us, so our passing becomes more forced and stressed. Maddison and Bentacur are the type that despite being under a bit of pressure can create out of nothing and change the momentum, without them it's more difficult for us to get into a different gear
