3 points please. Hope we can carry our performance from last night (apart from the 15 mad minutes)

Think with doherty on the right we should see a big difference. Not digging at royal I just think Doherty suits the RWB better and offers way more for our attacks.

I feel like this is a game where tiredness could be a big factor. If we're sluggish, we will lose. But if we recover well then it should be a win. I am worried though.

I've got a suspicion this is the game Conte had earmarked to rest Kane. As others have mentioned Premier League games don't come much more comfortable than Frank Lampard's version of Everton at home.

Depending on Richie's fitness it would be Son and Richarlison up top for me, with Perisic and Doherty either side of a midfield 3.

Think a win on sat will make it best start for us in PL. When you factor in we are top of the CL group it's been an insane start (points wise)

There needs to be some rotation after Wednesday, especially with United next midweek.
I think Doherty, Davies and Perisic will certainly all come in and maybe Bissouma and Kulusevski.

Agreed.

Dier can't play every game either.

Unfortunately he's the only player we don't have a suitable, natural replacement for. Wednesday highlighted that for me; Romero is nowhere near as effective in the middle of the back 3 and overall we looked quite wobbly after conceding the second.

In his position, Dier probably expends less energy than any of the other 9 outfield positions so I think he actually could start every league & CL game, assuming no muscle issues.

Plus World Cup?

Could be 50+ games. Gonna be a tall order.

We're due to give someone an absolute pasting and the signs were there on Wednesday that Kane and Son are starting to find the extra gears.

Kane won't be rested from the start but if we're 3 or 4 up which I think could feasibly happen after an hour then he comes off.

Kulusevski and Kane on the bench would look really good along with Moura. If we go 343 I would be really tempted to start Gil on the right with Richarlison up top and Son on the left.

We are very rarely 3 or 4 up. If someone needs a rest it has to be from the start.
We can risk substitutions near the end, but it can backfire, as it almost did wednesday night.

I hope we don't make too many changes.

I can't see Bissouma starting after the midweek game. Conte will stick with Bentacur and Hojbjerg while he can until Bissouma or Skipp are up to the task.

There’s a lot of confidence on show here, dare I say it, over confidence? Everton have improved this season so can’t see it being the walk over some may be suggesting it will.

I was a little bit worried after hearing about Everton’s defensive record in terms of goal conceded, which is best in the league.

However looking at the stats they have the 5th worst xGA (expected goals conceded), suggesting they’ve been quite fortunate with the number of goals conceded so far.

As always, Spurs can be their own worst enemy but if we come up to a decent level we should win.

Should imagine that Liverpool game skewed that stat considerably as Pickford was on another planet that day with some of the saves he pulled off.
