Jose is finished in this modern game

Imagine a footballing manager with this team

He will still do well in cups but no chance we doing anything in the league with this football. Burnley play better than us these days
This was obvious when he took over. He was lucky to have kane and son to paper over the cracks.

Just like the weeks before, individual mistakes will cost the points but Jose gets the blame

the manner of football we are playing, the utter pussy like sit back approach, totally failure to ever impose ourselves by stepping off, the space Chelsea have, the lack of visible urgency from the players, the lack of movement, the slow movement of the ball

THIS is on Jose

Anyone saying Jose is still the man for the job are on crack

Yeah he's got to go 100%.

Make no mistakes about it though, 75% of this team are dross and need to be sold. Until that happens we're going nowhere and another manager will have similar problems.

Do people calling our squad 'poor' think they're all not professional footballers or something? They look drunk but it's not like they never knew how to complete a simple sidefooted pass.

He wants to get sacked. He’s a dinosaur managing morons. Turned the game off to watch something less depressing. I’ll post my Human Centipede 2 review later.

It's no good blaming Dier, if you are going to play the entire game in your own penalty area you are going to have things go against you, they can't get penalties outside the box.
The fact that we are playing in our own box isn't Diers fault or any other player.
I agree that the tactics are woefully ill-suited for our abysmal defenders, but Dier absolutely deserves blame there. That was reminiscent of the penalty Son gave away when he was playing left back in the cup semi a few years back. Genuinely among the stupidest penalties you'll ever see. Jose and Dier both have fucked up massively.

In the last days before the Fall of Poch, we looked utterly clueless, like a group of strangers. We look the same now.

I agree it's worrying that despite the vastly different circumstances between the situation with Poch v Mourinho, there's something rotten at the core of this group of players.

This group isn't so good that we should be suddenly competing for the title, but nor are they so bad that they can't string two passes together.

I personally think that the lack of investment in the squad for that 18-month period did a huge amount of damage, and set the seeds for everything imploding when we lost the CL final and Poch lost his way.

We're still playing catch-up.

I think Levy thought this squad was still capable of challenging at the very top and only needed the Mourinho touch to push it over the line. I think that was a very grave misjudgment.
Total agreement.

I don't disagree with anyone criticizing Mourinho right now, but these players - for the most part barring one or two - just don't have it.

I dont get it. We defend deeper and deeper every match which invites pressure and chances. Any break the ball has to be 100% perfect otherwise it just comes straight back.
Bergwijn and Son have 50 yards to go just to get halfway in there half with very little support as every other fucker is miles back.
When the opposition sits in we have no clue what so ever to get in behind or break them down.
The oppostion defenders have all the time in the world as there is so much space to play in.
It's madness and it's every week (twice)

Running rings around us. This is like a pre-season friendly with one team at the end of their preparations and the other fresh off their holidays.

For all those who think Jose isn't to blame for every mistake or brain fart, when you're put under the mental strain of defend defend defend, camped in your own box for 90 minutes, the cracks will show.

Are they washing Mourinho out? There is no resistance, no interest to win whatsoever. Chelsea press on our half and our defence is scared as shit.

Sissoko and Hojbjerg in the middle is a big part of the problem. No one who can pass forward.

Would love to know what are tactics are. Because for me it seems. Sit as deep as possible and pray.
