Mourinho is rightly being questioned, but doesn't the basics stuff just feel exactly like the stuff being posted on here during matches at the end of Pochs time here. In some cases it's the same complaints. I find that worrying.

In the last days before the Fall of Poch, we looked utterly clueless, like a group of strangers. We look the same now.

I agree it's worrying that despite the vastly different circumstances between the situation with Poch v Mourinho, there's something rotten at the core of this group of players.

This group isn't so good that we should be suddenly competing for the title, but nor are they so bad that they can't string two passes together.

I personally think that the lack of investment in the squad for that 18-month period did a huge amount of damage, and set the seeds for everything imploding when we lost the CL final and Poch lost his way.

We're still playing catch-up.

I think Levy thought this squad was still capable of challenging at the very top and only needed the Mourinho touch to push it over the line. I think that was a very grave misjudgment.

Jose needs to stop alienating players and stop with the turgid smash and grab type shite. We were tearing teams apart earlier on in the season and he reverts back to classic Jose. The sooner the fans get back and let him know the better. We are going so far downhill its not even funny
