it also feels refreshing to see our defenders smash the ball off the pitch if they feel uncomfortable. feels like they've been afraid to just act like defenders at times.

I know our wins have been against poor opposition, but I'm glad we've had the teams we've had as that lifts us up the table, a wins a win (which we couldn't buy under Poch), it all gives us confidence.

I'm confused I thought you were not allowed to touch the ball with any part of your arm/hand in the penalty area.
Only when the ball touches an attacking player's hand in a move that leads to a goal.

Only attackers (where any contact is illegal even if clearly accidental). With defenders the hand / arm has to be in an unnatural position, accidental is allowed.

Perhaps what the players learned on Wed was that all the talent in the world is no use without a bit of intensity. Burnley have been very sloppy, but we were at them from the whistle and could easily have scored five. And we haven’t even noticed the lack of a creative passer, because the long balls have been so accurate and the movement has been so good.

There was a lot of sloppiness creeping in during the last 10 minutes though. Needs 45 more minutes of concentration.

Son, Alli, Kane, Moura on paper is frightening... today is the 1st time in a long time that they’ve cut an opposition to shreds at will and more importantly converted 3 of their 5 glorious chances.

We all know what we have in Harry Kane. A world class striker. In watching the first half highlights, it's hard not to conclude that we have two world class strikers now. While the goal is Messi like, Son's contribution today has been way more than that. And what is exciting is that he continues to improve.

I am sure we will drop the intensity and aggression in the 2nd half, it's only natural, so will be interesting to see if game management has improved ? Clean sheet, please!

I wonder what the odds are on the game getting to 3-2 at some point? I don't imagine you'd get much back.
