I’m a fan of Johnson but he was not good today. The goal doesn’t change that! But I’m happy for him, he deserves the confidence boost and he doesn’t deserve some of the criticisms on here.
I think he's a player who'll always frustrate to an extent. His main attribute is getting in the right places and getting goals and assists.

I see many games where we're unhappy with his performance only for him to pop up with the winning goal.

We got away with that, I hope we can recapture some of the confidence we were playing with earlier on in the season with key players back now

Lucky us, after that performance it was daylight robbery.
Wouldnt go that far. They hardly battered us, had a couple of decent chances when we gave the ball away constantly and handed them the initiative, but we were lucky to score the way we were playing.

That's a huge win for us. Scoring late to get over the late conceding hoodoo, and it being clear than many of our best players just needed time to find their form and a bit of cohesion on the pitch.

The starting XI really grew into it, then after the dodgy triple substitution the next batch slowly got the hang of things as well. Frustrating it's taken a few games for that cohesion to redevelop but it's reassuring its not the system fundamentally being found out by the opposition.

Great 3pts! What a difference having world class putting the final ball across.

It was fucking edgy. A little lucky. But nothing better than last minute winning games.....COYS!!!!!!!!!

Carlton Palmer, Jamie O'Hara and Gabby Agbonlahor as pundits on my stream. They can barely muster one full brain between the three of them
