If the midfield play like they did last Saturday, the disillusionment could be swift. I want to see them back where they were in October, before the injuries and suspensions. I hope having a whole uninterrupted week to train together will help.

Both Son and Werner can play striker also - so 3 attacking subs: Solomon, Werner, Johnson would not seem out of place (if Sonny, Richy, and Kulusevski start)

He might be the 6th option, but I think he would make the bench - ahead of Bryan, and maybe even Lo Celso - thinking that Kulusevksi could drop back if Madders came off.

Ange loves to sub the wingers with pace so he can keep up the push and pressure so if solomon is fit he will easily be back, the guy is so fast and skillful. I feel sorry for the guy because if he was not injured he would have played a hell of a lot.

Yep.

All I'm hearing in terms of summer transfers is the importance of 1vs 1 dribblers in Ange's system. Solomon is the best we have in that regard in our current forward lineup.

He also scored from the bench four times last season, which has to have been among the best in the league.
