Declan Rice? Go away. Scout the Bundesliga 2 and you’d find 5 of him in no time. He’s shit, the opposite of what we need and massively massively overpriced based on his fake Englishness.

We need players who can move quickly, first and foremost. Secondly they need to be technically great and have quick feet. Chuck in an eye for a pass and some agility and we’re almost there.

Rice has none of these attributes at the level we are looking at. Much like Dier

I agree the problem is cm, and we need to improve there, but it's not just the cm's. We get over run in cm, because who ever the 2 cm's are, they have to cover the full width of the pitch.

We need, Moura, son, Dele ect to close down and track back as well.

1st half we were very poor & although we got better in the 2nd we still weren't great! Our 1st goal was a bit lucky, although our 2nd was quality, but we still didn't look like we could be sure of winning.

I don't think any of our midfielders are suited to a pivot. Dier is the only DM but he's too slow to cover the ground and turns like a London bus. He'd be OK with 2 ballers flanking him (say GLC/Dier/Ndombele) then we might get control in the middle of the park. The insistence is killing us, especially with a lack of technical players. You only had to see the difference introducing Eriksen and GLC had to see the proof of that.

Is it coincidence that our form has been poor for nearly a year now, and the one player that has played in most of those games has been Sissoko. Before that we were flying. He has one good game in a blue moon but just runs around a gives the ball away. Him and winks just clearly doesn’t work. Winks is class for England because he plays in a more attacking role. Sissoko is the problem!!! Be interesting how forward attacking without the pair on sat we become. Because it’s just sideways back sideways back you get the picture so negative. Lo celso changed the game today much better 2nd half and a good day for Spurs onwards and upwards COYS

Agree with a lot of this. Son/Alli/Moura are mostly careless in possession too which means we get countered far too easily. until we sort this out - either by using more technical players in these positions or asking whoever is there to work harder - then any of our CM pairings will struggle.

I think its because, as i said before the match, we'll play shit, they'll probably have more shots than us, but up front we have quality and will take our chances.
