I go into the ground from the south east corner, and there was loads of them queuing up at the bag drop with their rucksacks and suitcases. They all looked pretty down for some reason.
Thats shit for them. But I'm so glad they follow Spurs. If thats because of Son then fkin good job. Good on them.

Declan Rice? Go away. Scout the Bundesliga 2 and you’d find 5 of him in no time. He’s shit, the opposite of what we need and massively massively overpriced based on his fake Englishness.

We need players who can move quickly, first and foremost. Secondly they need to be technically great and have quick feet. Chuck in an eye for a pass and some agility and we’re almost there.

Rice has none of these attributes at the level we are looking at. Much like Dier

I don't think JM has signed many players from Germany throughout his career, so while I would agree with you he will go with what he knows. Having said that, if he scouted teams in the Bundesliga in the hope of being prepared for a Munich interview then maybe he will have picked out some targets.

Problem is I don't think we will tempt players from CL teams here or in other top leagues, so players who are looking at being mid-table or out of Europe are realistic targets especially in January.

I have rated Timo Werner since his time at Stuttgart and would have liked him at Spurs, but I think he will end up at the likes of Chelsea or Liverpool.

Just seeing the winks challenge for his booking on motd and sure he dives in but their player makes a meal of it.

I think we give Gazzaniga too little credit. He has stepped up quite well I must admit. When you don’t complain about the keeper, shows he is a safe pair of hands.

Another questionable starting lineup, but I have complete faith in Mourinho.

Crucial difference between Mourinho and Poch, for me, is that Jose finds it much easier to make correct, decisive substitutions, and to get players fired up at half time (Moura the most obvious example today).

It’s no secret that there’s a lot of dross in our squad, and both managers have had to do the best with what they’ve got at this point. Difference being, Jose is consistently grinding out the wins, Poch did not.
Very short sighted statement. Pochettinho knew most of these players needed to be sold, they basically downed tools.

Mourinho will soon find out and Levy will not be able to hide the cheque book.

Wasn't a great performance, but I really don't think it was as bad as people are making out. Brighton are a decent team and we deserved the win overall. Could easily have been 4-1 if you look at the chances created. Obviously there's plenty of room for improvement and the squad is very imbalanced but at least we are grinding out wins, if he starts to integrate GLC/Ndombele properly we may hopefully start controlling games a bit better.

I’m sure that’s what people were crying out for earlier in the season when we were playing badly but losing. At least now we might play badly and win! Still people complaining about it though ?

It's Spurscommunity. We could be having Liverpool's season and some people would complain we've dropped two points.

First half was as bad as I've seen us play, bringing on Lo Celso changed the whole game for us. He wanted the ball and passed it quickly - who would have thought that having a player who can pass might help our game?????????????

I know it's early but real concerns about what we are seeing under Jose.

The first half was as abject a display as I have ever seen. Akin to a bunch of hungover lads having a game of three and in down the park.

I have concerns but not because I think he's incapable of doing a good job but more so because of what he seems to be neglecting to do. Not with everything mind, but with the centre of midfield. It just concerns me when we see a combination of Dier/Sissoko/Winks in there when we have one, two or possibly three (not sure that's ever been the case) of Eriksen, Lo Celso and Ndombele on the bench. There doesn't seem to be that acknowledgement of the major need for a forward thinking passer in the side.

Just watched the game again on AP, I know, sad!!! Watching Harry Winks and noticed his natural instinct after passing the ball, is to take a few steps back to receive, not only do the short side passes slow us down, with him, our momentum tense to be defensive rather than being offensive.

He slows us down you're right about that. He takes too long on the ball as well imo.
I think he could be a good attacking player but that role in front of back four, especially when paired with Sissoko, is not doing him any favours either.
