Yeah but not enough in it for VAR to over turn it.

It wouldn't have been orverturned by VAR if the ref had given it in the first instance though. Refs seem to have a tendency to wait for a VAR decision on penalty decisions for us, instead of making an on-field decision in the knowledge that VAR would overule a mistake, but to make on-field decisions to award penalties for our opponents. This means our opponents get a higher propoprtion of deserved penalties than we do.
Considering we generally spend more time in opponents' areas than they spend in ours, I'd expect us to be awarded far more penalties than we concede, but this isn't the case.
