Lot of attacking options on the bench, hopefully sissoko provides something going forward otherwise we will need those options ASAP

If we're using the 3241 set-up in attack then Sissoko is a very strange selection. You'd think Le Celso would be perfect for the role if he didn't want to start Lucas.

Dier was probably the first name on the team sheet after the midweek substitution.
I had no doubt JM would rest him after that.

Don't like Sissoko on wing but at least it will make Aurier go forward more often, Sissoko is a master at covering for him. More crosses from Aurier means more goals for Kane.

Is this like a 433 formation? I do think GLC should be playing instead of Sissoko but i see why Jose is playing him

Im thinking 8-2 to spurs

Only at Spurs could we play Sissoko and Dier while GLC sits on the bench. I'm not sure why we bothered signing him tbh. He's such a talent. We just need to play him.

Have never been a great fan of Sissoko out wide unless it's for fresh legs in the latter stages of matches. Lucas may not give loads more in terms of overall performance, but I did like persisting with Lucas to see if he could reach another gear.

Interesting line up, and a very physical team which is good. I do hope our boys play nice ;) after all I would hate to see Lerma have an uncomfortable afternoon...

Not convinced with Siss as a RW, would have liked to finally see more of Lo Celso.

No Sess on the bench is disappointing too.

Whatever. Back the manager and win. COYS

Looking to get about them physically. Control the game I guess and then play as we'd like.

Wouldn't be surprised if Ndombele was being eased back into the team following his injury and will be largely starting ahead of Winks from now on.

Maybe Dier in the back 4, Aurier right wing, Sissoko and Nwomble as midfield pair, Alderweireld right back?
