Feel we lose a bit of control in attacking areas swapping in Dele for Eriksen. Dele definitely has qualities Eriksen doesn’t in terms of his off the ball work but he gives up possession easily and dallies in the ball too much. Against a team who are likely to press us and a lot this could be a problem.

Dele isn't creative?

I don't think he's as creative as he initially appeared to be. If he's given time on the ball in midfield he almost always either dawdles, runs down blind alleys or makes a simple short pass. It's when he has to make split-second decisions that he's at his best (see the assists against Ajax) and these moments of genius usually come when he's in or around the box or we're playing on the break.

To get the best out of him I really think we need to play him high up as a borderline second striker, like he did in his first couple of seasons.

he is no Eriksen or Lamela. Neither is Son. They run into space. Ndombele is our only creative player.

14 in third season

Just in the league and CL , only last season did those stats fall off

Plenty creative, just the usual short memories because he's been off his game for awhile
