The Coach and Horses just down from the ground is good, decent price drinks too.Question;
Some family are going to the game. And some in their party don't have tickets. If they want to go and find a pub, feel the atmosphere before some head in to the ground and others stay at the pub what would be your suggestions for when get out there, and pubs for the non-ticket holders to go to.
Son would surely insist on taking one though, even though his career record is only 7/12 converted.With the away goals rule out of the way, there is now a higher chance of penalties needing to seperate teams in the Champions League. Doesn't feel like we have a great record in penalty shootouts but maybe we have a reason to be a little more optimistic this season.
Forster is clearly a better penalty keeper compared to Lloris, this is true not only with the eye test but also stats back this up. Forster has a 36% save percentage whereas Hugo has a 16% save percentage according to Transfermarkt.
On the penalty taking side we actually have a surprising amount of regular penalty takers, in fact many of our new signings were the designated penalty taker for their team before moving to Spurs.
1. Kane - Obviously one of the best in the game, but have uncharacteristically missed three penalties for England and Spurs this season.
2. Richarlison - Scored multiple important penalties in the relegation fight last season for Everton.
3. Persic - Took penalties last year for Inter (with his right foot!) including a goal in the Italian Cup Final versus Juventus.
4. Porro - Has taken three penalties for Sporting in the last season and a half with a 100% record.
5. Danjuma - Was the main penalty taker for Villareal and scored 5 out of 6 penalties during his time there.
Well, I had to take some strongish painkillers for my back last night & I had the weirdest dream.
Conte played a flat back 4 with 2 central defenders from the under 10 team. We won 1-0, and I managed to nic a can of Diet Coke from Levy's office without paying.
This club has done a number on my mental health.
I mean we are a different beast at home and we should have scored a few against wolves but we’re unlucky.Personally I don't see either side scoring 2 goals. Milan don't need to score and just have to stop us scoring and so I see this going one of two ways. Either a 0-0 draw and Milan going through or 1-0 to us and extra time and penalties then it's anybody's. I just don't see goals in this game which is not good for us. We've just played 3 hours of football without scoring against to be honest was not the greatest of opposition in Sheff Utd and Wolves. It would be great if we absolutely destroyed them and played them off the park with a 3-0 win but when you look at the team and the way we play these days it would look very unlikely. However we live in hope as we have done for so many years now.
Obviously as a Spurs fan I hope we progress but not too emotionally invested in this game
