Son has in the past looked knackered and out of form only to play great in the next game . From where we are at this moment you want all the quality players on the pitch against Sheff Unt .

On a lighter note PSG with all their superstars their 2nd half performance was on a par with ours against city tonight .

I want to see us go all out attack after that shit show last week. Which means playing 4 attackers & no winks but we all know he’s likely to start along with Pierre.

EDIT: As soon as I sent this message Spurs tweeted a picture of Winks with Powell ?

Time to play Winks in his proper position!!

Said it in another thread but as bizarre as it sounds but I’ll be even more pissed off if he picks Tanguy in place of Winks for this as that will just compound the ridiculousness of the decision last week.

3-5-2

Lloris
Toby Dier Rodon
Lavinier Ndom Hojbjerg LoCelso Reggy
Kane Son

I think Toby and Dier did well on Sunday, so I’d stick with them in the team.

Im gonna disagree with myself, happens a lot being a Gemini, same formation pretty much, but slightly different choice of players. If Davies isn’t fit, Dier gets in, if go for Davies as Sunday showed how much a left centre back used to help us out when playing out from the back. And I think having Bergwijn as a wing-back could be an interesting option, I see very similar traits between him and Reggy. With real defenders behind them, hopefully they can get a bit of help when defending.

Jose?

Bergwijn isn't a defender! If you're gonna play him then play him as a wing forward! What is this obsession with turning him into a right back ?

The lad has had his confidence destroyed and needs a preseason with the chance to play his actual position. It would be handy if he got to play with Kane and Bale as one of them would lay on a goal for him, something he is in desperate need of from somewhere. But we seem to be obsessed in never giving our promising players time on the pitch and instead we flog to death the same old crap regardless of form.

Fair points, I just reckon that no one else has been any good at RB, and he’d be more a winger anyway, so give the lad some minutes and see how it goes. Get some confidence back against a poor Sheffield Utd.

I'd like to see:

Lloris
Tanganga Alderweireld Rodon Reguilon
Højbjerg Ndombele
Bale Dele Son
Kane
Also would like to see Bergwijn get some minutes at LWF if Son is not pulling up any trees after the first half.

Pre-match presser. Amid all the melting, let's remember we currently have a young manager:
