We’ve conceded a pen in the last 3 games vs United, which were down to Sissoko, Dier & Sanchez.

If any of these 3 start you can guarantee another one ...

I like Sanchez, but he looked shellshocked last week. So bench.

I'm far from convinced about it, but here's what I'd pick, albeit reluctantly....

Lloris

Aurier Dier Toby Rodon Reggie
Hojberg
Lamela Ndombele
Kane
Son.

5-1-2-1-1. With the fullbacks pushing on and hopefully pushing theirs back.

Bale on for one of the CBs, probably Dier, if we're trailing after about an hour of so.

I would never start Dier. If you are going 3 CB’s, its gotta be Tanganga or Sanchez. Dier is proven to be incompetent at the back

The second one of the back three has an inevitable brain fart, those wing backs will lose the confidence to get forward and dissolve straight into the back line. We'll lose control of the midfield, the forwards will get isolated and passing players like N'dombele will be wasted without lots of options in front of them.

A few questions. A) Are we still playing Sunday after Prince Phillip’s death? B) Do we really have to? C) Can we please postpone? I’d rather not watch this pending bloodbath

Strongest side we have IMO:

Lloris
Aurier Toby Rodon Reggy
Ndombele Hojbjerg
Bale Lucas Son
Kane

I do prefer Ndombele having more license to roam forward in a three but Lucas doesn't deserved to be dropped and I think Bale also needs to start so we can attack this lot.

On form yeah but playing 4-3-3 would bring the whole team play up a level

How is it humanly possible to choose not to watch Spurs when they play, However bad it is.
That leads me to ask myself what different type of fans are on this forum, all fans ,but all different, some fans follow us because of the most obscure reason, some because a player joined us that they like,a manager,to wind up a sibling, the colour of our shirts....
Me I was brought up a stone's throw from the ground, I don't remember not following spurs,
To not watch spurs out of choice is not an option for me.....
East London yid comes from Essex where I later moved to....if you're wondering... probably couldn't give a toss.

Especially after such a decent run in the league ; 4 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss in the last 6 league matches.

Yes it has the makings of s bloodbath especially as we don't know if the team will turn up.
As we know the club doesn't do pressure so if the expectation is lower(example utd will probably win) then we might cause a shock.
But if the expectation is that we can win to go fourth or the hype ratchet's up then the likelihood is we get smashed.

I was born in North Mid hospital so not far from the ground and with all my family coming and living in Tottenham it was an automatic choice.
Like you we moved to Essex where I still live to this day amongst in the main west ham fan's.

Given our poor form, United looking pretty ok since the defeat to Sheffield United, our propensity to give away penalties to this team, and our general tendency to shit the bed against the better outfits, can't see this as anything other than a comfortable away win, I'm afraid.
