Can’t see bale starting again Wednesday after playing most of the match today.

So I’d go same as today but Bergwijn or Moura for bale
I've been wondering about this too - for fantasy football reasons more than anything.

Normally he gets subbed earlier so I was wondering if him playing (practically) the full 90 vs Wolves was to placate him for when he's rested against Villa as he's never played 3 matches in a single week since he's arrived (I don't think?). Maybe impact sub vs Villa then start away at Leicester would make sense.

But then again he barely ran in the last 20 vs Wolves and I find it really hard to see Mason having the balls to drop him for the one home game with fans...

In short: I have no fucking clue.

Wasn't the little Burnley/Fulham/Palace run earlier in the season within 8 days? Or am I misremembering?

Yeah good point - I was completely off. He started all three of those, although he was subbed quite early in the Fulham game.

Still 3 starts in 8 days, though, so presumably no reason why he couldn't do that again.

Sounds like Bale won’t be starting, so maybe:

——————Lloris
Tanganga—Toby—Dier—Reguilon
————Hojbjerg—Lo Celso
Lucas————Dele—————Son
———————Kane

If Bale perhaps not able to start I’d be tempted to put Lamela on the right as at least he and Dele can make pests of themselves and create a bit more than Moura.

I’d go Lamela on the right to help stifle and wind up Grealish. Tang is quite good one to one so hopefully that’ll nullify him when he’s not yet fully fit.

I’d also bin Dier for Joe, ideally Rodon but I’d consider Hart as well- but obviously Ryan won’t drop him

Otherwise as you were
