The problem is tactics as well as line up.

Toby to replace Sanchez, Bale to replace Moura. Both were thrown out after the whole team didn’t turn up at the Scum. Victimisation

Son to come in for Vinny on the left, but not hugging the fkin touch line where he feels isolated. He must have more licence to roam.

As to who the third mid is and what they should be deployed to do, I’m torn. Either Lamela or Moura to hound Pogba will probably be the way he chooses to go, but both are incredibly inconsistent and often wasteful in great offensive positions.

I want to see Stevie again, who obviously needed a goal to go with his unselfish play- his miss at Anfield feels like a lifetime ago now...

But I’ll go with GLC, not sat back playing one twos on the halfway line but finding space around McFred. He can do an hour which will help with his fitness.

Irrespective of score line, the problem will come at 65 or so when Jose takes off an attacking player and brings on Sissoko or Winks or both if he can.

They will be bang up for it after OT but if they play a high line we can get in behind. Which will mean Jose conceding >60% possession trying to suck them in. This is his main tool so get ready for those long periods of boredom.

I genuinely don't care.

Dark clouds.

This.

I actually think Jose should stay but in the last 20 games I've watched, my favourite ones or in fact the ones I have enjoyed have not involved spurs.

Don't really care that much, but put Bale and Toby in there and it might peak my interest a little. Yeah anyway, same team as the original poster.

We all know we’re going to win this. 2-1. £10
A win wouldnt surprise me. The last few months when Jose’s seemed done he’s pulled a win out of the bag to save himself annoyingly. But at some point that lucks gotta run out. And unsurprisingly we are looking shit again so a multi goal loss here would be equally unsurprising.

If they aren’t playing for him we’re going to get hammered. They’ll be up for this one after Old Trafford.

I think we will see a return to a back three if Davies is fit. He's tried everything else to stop the defensive mistakes so chucking in an extra defender could be his next ploy.

Lloris
Aurier
Sanchez
Rodon
Davies
Regullion
Hojbjerg
Ndombele
Lucas
Son
Kane

It usually just causes the ball is way more often around our box as we miss a player further up front to keep the ball. Would be a shitty idea imo.

Judging by the reaction
to the first poster on the thread
we can save a lot of time, money and effort,
Close down the Mourinho
and the next manager threads
and all sleep easier
in our beds
by appointing
BringBack leGin as manager
now, today.

If we were to fire Maureen now, I sure wouldn't mind having Harry Redknapp as caretaker and we'd at least enjoy the next 5 weeks with Harry, Bale and Son running rings around most opposition.

The thing is if we were to win against Unt unlikely I know but for me all that would do is notch up my disappointment about recent other performances especially the Newcastle game . So I guess they are in a no win position with me . Lose it is what I expect or win and there is the annoyance about Newcastle / Arsenal / Zagreb / and why could they not win those games .

I'm happy with most teams so long as Bale is on the bench. After watching the recent training clips of Tanganga twice man handling him he still looks too timid to be up for a big game like this.

Lloris
Tanganga
Rodon
Alderwerield
Reguilon
Hojbjerg
Lo Celso
Ndombele
Son
Lamela
Kane

I completely agree with this, but there is an argument for Lucas to start as well - possibly in place of Bale, who hasn't played much lately.

Literally just had a dream about this game, we win 7-3 Harry Kane goes down injured with some sort of poisoning in the first 20 secs. We are also playing in a narrow main road not the new stadium, two American hillbillies are lead away by police during the game, the things you dream about are mental. But it’s probably gonna be more exciting than we’ll actually see, also I wouldn’t be pumping money on at the bookies for this score if tempted ?
