Good to see a lot of the media phrasing it in terms of Man U earning a draw at our place. Not they had dropped two points.

I'd still like us to dominate possession and be able to hold the ball like they did, but defensively we looked much more organised.

Shame Robbie couldn't get that all-important second goal, but we remain the only team to score against Man U in 2008.

Hutton had a sound debut and Woodgate looked very assured. My MOTM was Steeeeeed who as Gus said in the post match interview "runs for fun". Well as long as it doesn't make him too tired to play, that's ok I guess.

Does anyone recognise the game on Match of the Day? They've made it look like Man U had the best of the entire game and that we were lucky to get even a draw.

Just finished watching the game, didn't think it was a great performance to be honest. If we'd played at 100% we would have won that. My main concern is some of the decision making, especially by Jenas and huddlestone. We had a few chances to play people in and the wrong choice resulted in those opportunities lost.

Credit to Keano and Steed who were constantly running, closing players etc. Not a glamorous job but necessary and effective. Lennon was brilliant and Berbatov had some brilliant moments but was also very sloppy at times.

I think we don't know how to take the pressure off of ourselves at the end of the game. We looked like we were too busy trying to score a second than keeping a clean sheet. I'm not saying we should hold it in the corner, but why not pass it around, let the opposition chase the ball. If your trying to force a goal all you do is give it back, if something opens up that's another thing.

I can't see what happened for the goal, they didn't get a good shot of it on tv. Maybe Dawson got a touch or didn't do enough to block the cross.

From a manure forum...
"Spurs in that kind of sparkling form at home is very hard to cope with"
"Spurs werent good. They were great. Lennon and Malbranque's workrate was unbelievable today. Speaking of Lennon, he was electric in the first half and Malbranque hardly put a foot wrong all game."
" I was impressed by Hutton today on his debut, thought he had a cracking game, and Lennon once again gave Patrice the runaround."
"spurs are on the way up and were impressive today - i think they are the fourth best team in the league."
"Spurs were good, and they're looking like a complete team now."
"New signings Woodgate and Hutton had brilliant debuts and Lennon has come alive again...Im just pissed they already played Le Arse twice in the League....and when they did stuff 'em 5 1 it were in't Cup"
"I must say, Spurs were very good and must take credit. They are on the up, Juande Ramos has done a fantastic job." - Sir Alex

With so much love I could find myself liking Man Utd fans:)
No wait ...

Dawsons own goal - If you look at him before the corner, he is doing his jumping up and down preparing himself for the corner.

When the corner is kicked, if you look, he is still in midflight for a split second after jumping. He is then slow to react to the positioning of ball from the corner, enabling Tevez and the ball getting the wrong side of him.
