My new adopted city (Houston) has just been made an official supporters club. I co-founded the LASpurs and now co-founded the HoustonSpurs. Two of the four largest cities in the USA.

Daniel where's my cheque?! ;)

:D :D :D

well done La Yiddo! welcome to Texas! I'm up in SA hope you have fun in Htown!

edit:side note I think we'll be going to the game in Chicago for preseason (housemate has family there). Do the Chicago fans have a supporter's club we can hook up with? Thanks!

Congrats on the new Houston supporters club. I'm in Greenway Plaza area, usual hangout would be the RA but be good to get to the KH to meet up with the club. I have a few buddies that I usually drag along already converted a NO Saints fan who wandered blindly to supporting Chelski - He's now wearing the shirt with PRIDE!

We've been to the RA a few times. Not a massive fan of that place. The KH opened last year and is absolutely ideal for us. Hope to see you there soon Dan! #COYS!

How is the presence in Austin? It appears as if I'll be moving from Chicagoland to Austin next Spring.

Experience spoilt by match. I was there last year for defeat at Anfied too.

Good pub with all matches on plus rugby.

One chap in there with an AustinSpurs shirt.

You won't miss this last winter I bet :) Welcome to TX! All the smart people are moving here!
OOOOOh yes. Another 4" last night. I think we're at or over 80" for the winter right now. I'm done with it.

Ideally we would have moved this spring but we've got a little Spur on the way in the next couple of weeks so it's pushed back a year!

I lived in Austin for a decade. Have friends there and have one old mate/ex co-worker that is a hardcore Spurs fan. Mostly you see Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool, Goons as per usual. All fine by me, just more people to throw some abuse/banter at :D

Ill just use this thread for the national team...

What are everyones thoughts on Kyle Beckerman? To me, all he does is play himself off the roster. How he constantly gets called in is beyond me. The USMNT needs a ball winner.

Have never been a fan. Once the competition level increases he starts to seem overmatched. At his best he's an OK holding mid, but nothing more. Honestly, I'd rather see Geoff Cameron in that role. He played it well when he was given the shot last year.
