Haven't been this excited about a sporting event in a long long while. I figured they'd be back in the States this year or next..and if they weren't going to be in Chicago I was hoping it would be next year so I could go (baby on the way this Spring likely would have killed any travel plans for the Summer). It's about a 40 min drive for me to get to Toyota Park though!

Seattle and Chicago.

Could be a bit of a hike for you then !

My step sister lives in Chicago and my step brother in Seattle so I can always just call them up and say im flying out for a visit meanwhile the real reason would be to see my Spurs;)

This gives me hope though...

Preseason tour stateside next year. Hoping for a fixture in NY. Sucks that most of our players might still be in Brazil.

We've played the Red Bulls the last 2 times we've come over....you'd think we'd play them again to cover both coasts.

Yeah. But probably in NJ. Not really trying to go to Hempstead. Unfortunately, now that City and my Yankees co own NYCFC, I doubt we'll have a fixture in Yankee Stadium. Unless we play City in the stadium.

I'm hoping they come to Silicon Valley. We still have a partnership of sorts with San Jose Earthquakes right? Plus Hewlett Packard are in the area too. Keeping my fingers crossed!

If its between Red Bull Arena and Yankee Stadium, I choose Yankee Stadium 10 times out of 10. Nice stadium and convenient for me as I can take the Metro North right to it...Plus, I dont have to step foot in Jersey which is always nice to avoid;)

we would never play in a stadium that big, the name (Spurs) isn't big enough.

I've experienced both games we've played in RB Arena and its been a fantastic atmosphere both times. Mostly down to the size, which is made for football.....not the 60k that Yankee stadium must be, there would be so many empty seats.

I think the attendance was around 43k when they came to Baltimore and played Liverpool. Very large crowd, but there were a ton of empty seats (70k capacity). I like the smaller venues where they can sell every seat. It creates a better atmosphere and most of our smaller stadiums put fans closer to the field.

The difference from Baltimore to New York was night and day last summer.

If anyone is planning on going to the game in Seattle, the Seattle Spurs supporters club is going to have presale tickets available starting 1/21.

in order to buy presale tickets you need to get on the list by first going to the seattle spurs facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Seattle-Spurs/254994944513188
and then messaging the page with your name and CRN (customer reference number, if you dont have one already sign up for an account on the official site or go here: https://www.eticketing.co.uk/totten...nUrl=/tottenhamhotspur/myaccount/default.aspx)
and after you submit your info to the seattle spurs page to get on the list, join the group, which is where the presale link will be posted:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/255378951284252/

presale tickets will be for sections 317/318 which are allotted for the spurs supporters groups. so if you want to sit with fellow spurs supporters i suggest you get on the list! not to mention youll have your tickets ages before the public ticket date (3/10)
