Agree but Turkey's only 50 mins extra. Just picking up on those saying thank god we're not travelling to Turkey or Ukraine. Not too much difference than Bulgaria IMO.

Now Azerbaijan is another story!

Depends where in Turkey, it's a big country. The only Turkish team in the competition now are Sivasspor, who are based in central Turkey. We'd be looking at a good 5-6 hour flight for that one, not too different to flying to Tel Aviv or Baku.

Either way we've been pretty lucky with that draw, I think.

Anyone else having issues trying to cancel Premier Sports?

It’s not accepting my password to log in and although it says it’s sending me an email to reset it, I haven’t received anything from them since last night when I tried to cancel. I’ve tried 3 times!

They’re not accepting calls either. It’s an automated message saying to use the website.

I’m 100% certain that my password was correct anyway because I wrote it down when i first signed up. Weird.

Edit - I’ve checked my spam folder too. Nothing there.
Mate they drive me nuts, turned out I was in the Premier sports sky TV login even though it looks identical when I had difficulties before. Thanks for the reminder as also definitely need to cancel that rubbish!

Are you in the premier player part or the premier sports part? It sounds like you’re in the premier player section and your subscription is to premier sports through Sky ( which you’d still get premier player (the online version) but would need to have activated it to use it).

If you watched on sky, follow this link:

If you watched an online player, this one:

Metalhead

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Yeah, should just cancel that if I can’t get hold of them I guess.
At least that way the ball is in their court to contact you. Likely as not though you'll probably not hear from them again.

Edit: sounds like you have had some good advice anyway.

I watched it on tv via Sky and that first link is the one I’ve been using and it’s just not letting me sign in. It’s def not the premier player link. I just wonder if they’re doing a sneaky because they know lots of Spurs fans will be cancelling now, but surely they’re too big a company to do that.

Looks like I’ll have to cancel my DD. Cheers anyway mate.

Ah sorry, I hope you don’t feel patronised by me telling you to do what you were already doing. It really is a rubbish provider and I’d not be surprised if they were being a bit naughty. You’re probably best cancelling the DD as you say.

This competition is going to be so good for the players on the outside looking in at our first team. It will allow players such as Dele, Bergwijn, Ndombele, Tanganga, etc. to find their best form or improve their fitness, and provide opportunities for them to stake a claim to moving up in the pecking order. It will also be useful for new boys such as Vinicius (and hopefully Skriniar) to bed into the team. There's going to genuine competition for places in the team all throughout the squad which can only be a good thing.

Delighted with that draw. Realistically should be winning all 6 and through after 4.

Course not, I appreciate any advice. Even switch it off and on again!

Looking at the dates, here are our PL fixtures after the EL ties.

Game 1 - Burnley A
Game 2 - Brighton H
Game 3 - WBA A
Game 4 - Chelsea H
Game 5 - Arsenal H
Game 6 - Palace A

I imagine Jose will be focusing on 3 wins to begin with so that we can top the group and be able to prepare better for Chelsea and Arsenal. Arsenal being in the Europa helps too.

Whilst the Europa can be a slog, we should now have enough to balance on all fronts.

Try again tomorrow - 48 hours after you took out the subscription... that was the instruction that appeared on my screen in very small writing at the top of the page when you hit 'cancel'.

Apparently it takes 48 hours for their systems to 'update'.

I took out the subscription before the first of the three games so that was over 2 weeks ago. I should’ve cancelled as soon as I paid the fee for the month!

I’m sure I’d be able to cancel if they just send me the frickin’ email for the password reset. The fact that hasn’t come has made me suspicious.

Late to the party but pleasantly surprised by both draws.

Can we cope with not being in the group of death???

That's a great draw for us, just a shame no away days. First time in years we've had genuine strength to attack on all fronts too.. exciting times ahead!

Would like to see someone like Harvey White make some appearances too.

Even if it’s after we’ve already qualified for the next stage.

LASK are a very dangerous team. They took Sporting apart 4-1 in the play offs and last season they topped their group and reached the last 16. After COVID break they completely collapsed domestically and went from being comfortable in 1st to finishing 4th, but they started this year strongly again.
