If Davies is injured long-term, we are fucked. I can’t take any more of watching us defend with Perisic at LWB.

I really think we need a change of manager at this point. It’s desperate stuff to be honest. Knowing he’s off at the end of the season amplifies everything.

Last placed team with the worst home record in the league this season. I always come away from these sorts of matches thinking "well if they play like that for the rest of the season they'll be fine" but it's us that make these teams look better than they really are.
Exactly. They’ll get thrashed by someone next week.

How was Porro today?

I see he scored, which follows up from his lovely assist last game.

You have to understand, we are not Southampton. They finished midtable last season. We were lucky to be level at 90 minutes because Tottenham are not so big. The fans have to be patient. It was important that we camped 11 players behind the ball because Southampton are very clinical in offensive situations. They have three, four, five forwards who score two or more goals a season. You have to understand this. We played a good game.

Staggeringly inept.

First half wasn't great in quality but on the balance of play we were the better team and deserved a lead just about.

Second half though we were pretty turd and we didn't deserve to go 3-1 up. But from that position we should have switched on and seen it out. We were just weak though immediately from the first kick after 3-1 - errors, lack of (tactical) shape, game management, inability to retain the ball, composure, everything was lacking. Didn't help that we made the last three Soton subs look like the holy trinity as they ran rings around us.

Really poor showing.

I had the game on mute, was genuinely shocked by the pen decision. Didn't even realise for a minute that a pen was given.

Ultimately we can only look at ourselves but still, that decision was incredibly soft.

Deciding to sit back against the worst team in the league when you're 3-2 up with ten minutes to go is a practically criminal decision on Contes part.
Normal Conte . He has turned us into Burnley. Park the bus small team with no resources. A bit unfair to Burnley who apparently now are a front foot attacking team. Guess next season their fans will be moaning about our ultra defensive football and what a disgrace we are to football.

from the stats it looks like the weakest team in the league had far more shots than we had. The five defenders and two ultra defensive midfield players is clearly working for us

So all we have to do in the future is just jump infront of a player who is trying to clear the ball and dive on the floor in the box. Win win

How on Earth is that a penalty ffs 🤦🏻‍♂️

A ref on the field, two assistants, and a bloke watching countless replays and they still give THAT.

I’m starting to think sitting back with our defence might not be a genius idea after all.
