I think that depends on MS situation. Can't see us selling him if MS doesn't come in, there's only really Capoue that plays his position, if he gets injured or suspended don't really have a proper DM. I know MS isn't a pure DM but he is clever enough to play there alongside Bentaleb or Paulinho if needed. As I think the chances of MS coming now are very low I think Sandro may stay which could end up being a stroke of luck IF he rediscovers his pre injury form

I wouldn't be surprised if it's Schneiderlin being Plan A and Song being Plan B. Schneiderlin obviously takes more work to get it done but it's pretty widely expected that Song will move before the deadline. He could be the fallback option (And I'm not too big on that idea, personally).

That would be painful to see, Song for Sandro, I can accept MS as he will be able to get us moving forward from deep and knows the Poch system well but don't see the upgrade with Song.

Unfortunately I see him going. Before his injury he was the heartbeat of the team. Now he seems to be lacking that drive and strength from before that made him stand out.

Reckon it's wise to move him on and get in MS if we can.

He reminds me a bit of Palacious, great at the start of his time with us but faded badly. Difference is Sandro seems to have a stronger mentality and desire.

Mentality and desire don't mean much if your body is shot.

I'm sure everyone on here would love him to get back to the player of 2012 but it's been too long since we saw him at his best and perhaps the club think he'll never get back to that player.

When he had that bad injury resulting in the Frankenstein scar, I knew right away he would never be back.

They've been after Sandro and/or Capoue for a while now. Milan have been eyeing up Sandro for a while too. I think Italy will be a likely destination for him. I won't like seeing him play for one of Juve's rivals this season though, that will hurt a bit.

I think Italy will suit him incredibly well, too. It's a good move for him, we'll likely get a good chunk of money and I'll hopefully be able to buy a Napoli shirt with his name on it (Been wanting one for awhile now).

Will also be better for any healing process. Think he'll do very well there.

Don't see the need to get rid of him when we need cover in the DM position anyway and if he rediscovers his form he will stay in that position regardless of injury to Bentaleb/Capoue, but Napoli is in a strong position and I think he'd excel there.

Doesn't hurt any less to lose the beast though :(

Agree. Apart from buying a Napoli shirt. :p

Happy to let him go as long as we bring in Schneiderlin. That way we won't miss Capoue as much when he's out.

Sandro is better than Capoue Bentaleb and schderlin.

None of them three have ever played to the standard that I've seen from Sandro.
Yeah he's been injured but so was Ramsey, but the scum stuck by him and didn't flog him now it's paying off for them but so many people on here think schderlin is gonna be way better, well I can't see it. I love Sandro please don't break my heart.

We have tried with Sandro. He's had a few injuries and stuck by him. I guess they don't see a full recovery.

As for Ramsey, it is a rarity for that to happen. Also Ramsey and Sandro are very different players and not very comparable. Especially how they got their injuries at a very different time

Pre and post injury Sandro might as well be two different players sadly

Watch how Sandro turns now compared to how he would turn pre injury, I don't think time will sort that I'm afraid, it takes him twice as long. He simply can't risk monstering players as he used to because if he snaps his ACL again it'll be maybe his career over. I totally understand why he has modified his game but we can't deny he has. Maybe it will come back as he learns to trust his body but every other player I can think of who has done their ACL has ended up modifying their game, it will be eye opening to see how JR gets on at Southampton.

Ramsey's done incredibly well to come back from his injury but it wasn't an ACL and Ramsey was not a physical player in the first place, Sandro on the other hand had a game built on physical prowess.

Also this sounds harsh but if Sandro did have another serious injury his value would drop hugely from £10-15m, it's already dropped I would say from £25m pre injury, now is a good time for us to trade.

Moving to Italy where the pace is slower would be great for him, I think to really see him overcome his injury a couple of years in a slower more tactical league would really help him, allowing him to modify his style and learn a new way to play that lessens the impact on his body.
