I suppose we haven't had too many bad days with him. Except for the "one of those days" days.

No, he hasnt, considering he's our most successful manager in the premiership, and up their in all time in our history.

Maybe, we should get Ramos, heard he's a good manager, Uefa Cup winner, Spainish cup winner, Touted World Class...................Oh wait

I dont think many people are advocating getting rid of Redknapp. The thread was about HR taking shots at Pav in the press.

What's he won us? Fourth in the PL?

His predecessors didn't do well. It doesn't mean that what is good (Harry) is actually great. The benchmark was mediocre/crap.

We've been dumped out of just about every cup competition we've competed in under him in shameful circumstances.

Lost 2-0 to Pompey.
Lost 4-1 to Le Shite. AT HOME.
Lost 4-0 to Foolham.

So taking us from fighting relegation to 8th in his 1st season, then into the top 4 in his second season and last 16 in our 1st appearance in the CL isnt a great achievement?

You say we were knocked out disgrafully, He got us to the semi final of the FA Cup, which wa sthe 1st time since 1995, and the 4-1 defeat to Arsenal, we had a lot of youth players playing.

Jeez, you relly have got it bad with Redknapp

Its a thread that people are taking shots at Redknapp on something they are trying to read with what he has said.

When was the last time we had a squad this good? How many of the guys who are regular starters were bought by Harry (and VDV doesn't count)? Finishing fourth was a fine achievement but not a great one.

It was disgraceful that we lost to Pompey. It doesn't matter if it happened in the third round, the semi-final or the final. We were humiliated.

And the side we played against Le Shite-and the way we were set up-was a joke. I would be more accepting of Redknapp's mistakes if he could hold his hands up occasionally. Instead, we get withering sarcasm from him.

I don't hate the man. I'm not saying we should fire him this minute. I'm saying he can be incredibly stubborn, arrogant and patronising.

I really don't understand some people saying Harry should go "hes took us as far as he can...." BALLS! Do none of you remember certain people saying that about Jol, look what happened! No manager is perfect they all make mistakes as a supporter we follow the team no matter what, we are up there challanging if anything we should be higher up, what more do you want? Another manager that can't speak english but has a higher profile name? Get over yourself and go support Chealsa.

As for Pav, yes he is our highest scoring forward but I wont care if he goes. For me I thought Defoe played really well yesterday, held the ball up, ran the channels, drew the fouls and worked hard.

I swear some of you have no idea what so ever! We are without Modders, Hudd, Bale and host of defenders! Some of posts on here are more frustrating than watching Pav fall over! :bang:

Yeah finishing fourth isnt something to shout about really, I mean, we've done it so many times in the premiership........Oh hang on wait

Why doesn't VDV Count? Shows how much intelligence you have. Van Der Vaart was targeted by Harry at the start of the window, but was quoted over £10million for him. It was only on the last day Levy was offered VDV by Real Madrid at the price we got him at.

We brought steal last season which we desperately needed in Palacios. We needed a leader and an experienced defender, so he brought Gallas, who has been one of our great performers consistently this season.

He rejuventated Gareth Bale, however way he did it, Bale showed under Redknapp what he could do, which Ramos failed to get.

Sorry how does losing 2-0 in extra time humiliating??

We played our youth in a cup competition thats least on our priorities against a number of Arsenals 1st teamers, is hardly a joke.

You dont hate the man or want him sacked, you have a funny way of showing it. Dont think you have ever said anything complimentary, you're an embarassment.

That was a blip! Big fuckin blip I agree but all the same I feel the board were on the right track. I dont agree with the way Jol was treated obviously. Harry was the perfect replacement considering the circumstances, and he's done a great job. We're not gonna get much more from him now though, his recent decisions and lack of action supports that. I seriously feel he's losing the plot. This is unchartered territory for him and I dont think he's handling the pressure well at all. He's not a long term replacement. We should move on and replace him when it suits us, not him.

How can you seriously say that?? How can he take us no further if you dont give him a chance, like what planet are you on? What manager do you think we could seriouslt attract that would come in and in 2 full seasons have us top 2? You are living in a fantasy land.

As I said, the bar hadn't been set very high. If we hadn't finished in the top 4 last season, I would have viewed it as an underachievement, all things considered.

Why doesn't VDV Count? Shows how much intelligence you have. Van Der Vaart was targeted by Harry at the start of the window, but was quoted over £10million for him. It was only on the last day Levy was offered VDV by Real Madrid at the price we got him at.

VDV doesn't count because we were never really in for him. His name cropped up-nothing more-instead, we spent most of the summer dry humping Joe Cole's leg.

He rejuventated Gareth Bale, however way he did it, Bale showed under Redknapp what he could do, which Ramos failed to get.

Bale looked like a phenomenal prospect before he broke his ankle.

Sorry how does losing 2-0 in extra time humiliating??

Losing 2-0 in extra time is not humiliating. Losing to a team rooted to the bottom of the table in an important game is humiliating.

We played our youth in a cup competition thats least on our priorities against a number of Arsenals 1st teamers, is hardly a joke.

We sent out a mish mash side with tactics that were not even half-baked. Against our biggest rivals. It was humiliating.

You dont hate the man or want him sacked, you have a funny way of showing it. Dont think you have ever said anything complimentary, you're an embarassment.

Ferguson OUT!

A Utd fan said to me a few months ago that he was past his sell-by date and that his record in Europe had been disappointing.

I would say that Utd were embarrassed yesterday. Wouldn't you?

But I don't oscillate between extremes.
