The thing I love about Lamela is he's trying. He's not hiding, he's not playing with fear, he's really trying. The fact that he's making mistakes is massively encouraging, because he's also creating to.
All part of the learning process. Would be much more concerned if he wasn't being noticed at all and was having next to no impact.
He's already made several assists and is really starting to catch the eye. A bit more patience and we're going to be richly rewarded IMO.
I'd actually like to see Townsend pull him aside and let him know that its ok to shoot inside of 20 yds. A little more selfishness would be welcome on occasion.
