Went with Gazza for MOM. Made a couple of very good saves. In truth, nobody really deserved a MOM rating and I really don't understand Mourinho constantly setting up with a CM2 when we don't have the players for it. There were holes all over the place while Eriksen wandered about twiddling his thumbs. Dier and Sissoko got absolutely rinsed in the middle and couldn't cover KWP who was relentlessly targetted. Skipp showed a lot more in his brief cameo than Dier has shown in repeated outings and we looked a lot more solid for it.

Not a lot else to say. Seriously though, I don't think it's only me that thinks this - I really don't see what Dier would give us that Skipp doesn't.

Skipp might make positional (or other) mistakes, he might have the odd shocker because of his inexperience. But I honestly think he'd add more than Dier.

Just stuns me people are putting “ very flat performance” of course it fing was it was a dead rubber. Honestly if I’d have seen Sissoko and Moura charging around the pitch I’d have been wtf are you doing we have a big game on Sunday. Obviously for Lo Celso Sessegnon Foyth kwp they were probably up for it. But it’s incredibly difficult when the rest of your team aren’t. The Negatives Eriksen Dier Rose we already knew. But Sessegnon Foyth Skipp are big pluses for me.

Agree with much of this.

I have a little sympathy for Dier - 2 games in a week following a long lay-off but not a great performance.

The cracks, particularly around DM and at the back look massive against opposition of this standard. It really highlights where our squad is fundamentally lacking and players who just aren't good enough.

I feel for KWP too - I think we've killed some of that early promise frankly. He needs to go an get regular football someone now and rebuild his confidence. There's a player in there but we've done him no favours. The difference between Sess and him (not apples for apples i know) last night was clear.

If I had to pick MOTM I suppose I'd go with Sess, who had the goal along with a couple of good looking crosses into the box.
Eriksen and Rose were Dier. The rest were average at best, but we must focus on the Wolves now.
