Not sure if anyone deserved to be MOTM but thought Skipp looked bright when he came on.

Surely better bet using him as a DM than Dier who looks leaden footed.

Gazza made some quality saves. Sess worked hard and took his goal really well. Skippy looked good and hungry when he came on. Foyth and Toby looked ok.

Every other player was completely and utterly garbage. Dier, KWP and Rose in particular were dreadful.

MOM for me is Sessegnon, in what was otherwise a truly awful performance.

Foyth needs to play more. Lo Celso good when playing centrally. Lucas not a 9. Sessegnon will be class.

What’s mad is that we really do have an awful lot of seriously average players. Take away the class players (Kane, Alli, Son, Ndombele) and take away the youngsters (Sess, Sanchez, Foyth, Skipp, Parrott) then pretty much everyone else needs to be upgraded.

We are so terribly poor in centre midfield with the likes of Dier, Sissoko, Winks and Wanyama. I can’t imagine any of them getting into any other top ten team let alone top 6. Our full backs are seriously crap, Aurier, KWP and Rose all need to go and be upgraded. We have ageing centre backs and only one wide player worth his shirt. Big job for Mou!!

I don't really want to talk about that dire performance so I'll pass on my girlfriends un-requested commentary from the match instead:

Eriksen:
(after missing that last chance) He needs selling, get rid. He's like one of those players who fixes games. Why haven't you sold him yet.

Wanyama:
He has footballer legs.

Sessegnon:
You new player Papillon looks decent.

General team performance:
It's not really fair though that they have more players than you on the pitch is it.

On being told to shut up:
You can't tell girls what to say about football.

Sessegnon - 6 (apart from the goal, didnt do too much, but its his first start ever plus was a CL games)

Son - 4.5 - could have scored 2 goals, probably being harsh on him

Felt like a pre-season game for large parts. Really was a dead rubber game.

Very flat performance.

I thought Foyth, Toby, Lo Celso and Sessegnon played well. Rose and Eriksen shouldn't be near the first team. As good as Dier was against Burnley he was shocking tonight. Hate to say it but KWP isn't good enough defensively and doesn't have the pace to get him out of trouble either. Moura struggled to get into the game.

I thought Jose got it completely wrong with the tactics tonight, we seemed to want to hit it long into Moura and we ended up giving it back to Bayern.
