Looking forward to Europa, Best memories of our atmosphere and a Thursday night is a great night rather than a Tuesday as you can get on the beers. Good if you want to fly to Europe for an away game and stay for the weekend

But purely for there being more games to go to and at reasonable prices with added business for Spurs ????

Yep, same here, especially if tickets are cheap. Sadly though if we are in qualifying that'll all be behind closed doors - they've been changed to single-legs because of the scheduling and UEFA wants to minimise home advantage.

A prospective Europa XI...

--------------------- Gazzaniga ----------------------
Aarons --- Kim Min-Jae --- Dier ----------- Cirkin
---------------------- Skipp --------------------------
--------- Gedson --------------- Winks --------------
Bergwijn ----------- Parrott ------------ Sessegnon

I'd personally be excited to watch that group of players.

That does look good; I'd love to see Harvey White get a chance too, and probably Tanganga rather than Dier, but definitely along those lines. I'd be very surprised if that team didn't get through the group stage.

I don't think we'll see even half that level of rotation but next season will be very interesting in terms of balancing the workload of the squad if we're in the Europa League.

-Firstly, we need to win a trophy so Mourinho can't just chuck the U18s in the domestic cups.

-The EL is a lot more winnable than the CL and offers a potential safety net if we make a mess of the league. Think we'll only see major rotation if we coast through the group with a couple of games to go or are 4 or 5 up in a two legged tie.

-Mourinho will want us at the very least back in the top 4 in the league and there's obviously no chance that this isn't a priority unless we completely collapse mid way through the season

I think we can do the opposite; start with major rotation and bring the big guns in if we suffer a couple of upsets. The 'average' Europa League group from last season would give us something like Gent, Partizan Belgrade and Wolfsberger as our opposition; you might get one half-decent team we'd still be favourites against, but mostly it's really poor.

You'd be excited to see the lineup and then 20 minutes in we'd be down to Sheriff Tiraspol and you'd be cursing.

A selection for a tournament we haven't qualified for yet with players we haven't signed yet. Something something counting chickens.

If Arsenal finish runners-up in the F.A. Cup, do they still get into the Europa League if Man Utd and Chelsea finish in the top 4?

Could do with finishing 6th now and not having to worry (as much) about United/Chelsea beating Arsenal in the final. Very possible if we win our final two, all we would need is Wolves to fail to win at Stamford Bridge. Ideally Chelsea don't beat Liverpool in the week so they have something to play for on the final day. We need to win tomorrow though

What're the odds of us finishing 7th and Arsenal winning the FA Cup taking Europa from us?
Highly unlikely, I’d say.

I think to get 7th spot we’d need to win both games and even then, we’d only finish 7th if Wolves beat Palace (H) and Chelsea (A). It’s likely Chelsea would be fighting on the final day for top 4, given their final two games are City and Wolves.

I’d say if we win both of our games, we’ll finish sixth. I can’t see Wolves beating Chelsea away.

I can. Losing when we need them to win is Chelsea’s party trick.

I think the runners up used to, but I'm sure they changed that a few years back. Or am I thinking of the league cup?

something like...

Remember when
Watching Tottenham on a Tuesday night.
We now play Thursdays, and it’s not right.
Remember Tuesdays, what a night!

Remember when
Watching Tottenham on a Tuesday night.
We now play Thursdays, as Levy’s tight.
Remember Tuesdays, what a night!

Hard to believe that we could win 5 and draw 1 of our last 6 and still not even get into the Europa League. Hopefully our recent improvement continues and is not too late in the day.
