I'll be boycotting this WC.
Got to draw the line somewhere.
I wish I could but my employer has the TV rights here so I'll pretty much have to work on it whether I like it or not.I'll be boycotting this WC.

Kane vs Lewa is a good duel. Rest should be a cakewalk
Watched the 1962 final on TV, went to the '66 in person, watched every other final since on TV but won't be watching a single minute of this one. As you say, gotta draw the line somewhere.I'll be boycotting this WC.

Aww I'm sure the governing bodies of Qatar will have an absolute meltdown when they come across your post on this forum.I'll be boycotting this WC.

Unpopular opinion but I don't buy into to all this boycott of the WC that some are posting. I imagine when the WC start, most of us is gonna be watching regardless.
Speak for yourself. I won't be, as I saw at first hand what a corrupt, venal bunch of aunts they are.Unpopular opinion but I don't buy into to all this boycott of the WC that some are posting. I imagine when the WC start, most of us is gonna be watching regardless.
I take it you didn't agree with the decision to give Qatar the world cup?I won't be watching it because of this shite:
Have 1,200 World Cup workers really died in Qatar?
The scandal surrounding Fifa has focused attention on the workers who have died building stadiums in Qatar - how reliable is the much-cited figure of 1,200 deaths?www.bbc.co.uk
Human rights in Qatar

Not to mention fucking up all our season's, just so some oil rich sheiks can sportswash their armpit of the desert, and wave their micro willy's at the other Arab nations.
Fuck this world cup, fuck FIFA, and fuck QATAR.
As opposed to all the other nations that have previously hosted world cups where "corruption" simply doesn't exist?!Speak for yourself. I won't be, as I saw at first hand what a corrupt, venal bunch of aunts they are.
When it was awarded to Qatar, the big nations should've got behind the investigation into the corruption and when it became blatantly obvious how corrupt the voting was, they should've boycotted. There's plenty of grounds for it given how ridiculously unsuitable a host they are.
Obviously, Germany were done for corruption around the 2006 bid and in the Olympics Salt Lake City 2002 was as controversial and corrupt a bid as any other in Olympic history, which given the IOCs record is quite something so we can't pretend the West is sqeaky clean.Yes, and I suspect this is because the so called 'big nations' all have governing bodies that are rife with corrupt people.

But all bidding corruption aside, Qatar have not only broken a promise that they would be able to stage a summer World Cup, which should be an automatic stripping of the event right there, but workers, and not just a couple of accidents but many, many workers, have died making these stadia. They have been living in appalling conditions and been worked to death by project leaders (i.e. the Qatari state) that doesn't give a shit about workers rights.
That is far worse than a corrupt bidding victory.
