The torch.
You'll be a day early mate, so there won't be a queue at the bar.Quick question, they recon its going to be packed tomorrow. What time would people suggest actually heading to the stadium to have enough time to grab a beer inside? 2?

Is there a sensible way to get to the Torch without going back down Wembley Way?
My main issue with games has been trying to have a pint after the game whilst the crowd dies down, but just getting out of the stadium itself is a bit of a nightmare and I often end up in a shit-hole like Watkin's Folly as it's near the easiest way to get out of the stadium.
What are the prices like at the Torch? Made a BIG mistake and went into the Wembley Tavern for the Monaco game. I wasn't sure whether they were telling me the price of a pint of Fosters or asking for a ransom payment.
Pretty much everywhere anywhere near the stadium is £5 a pint or worse on matchdays. If you want anything cheaper you'll need to drink somewhere else (Baker Street is popular) and tube it in from there. What are the prices like at the Torch? I can get quietly drunk 40% cheaper than you. Hic.Sitting in a quiet pub on match day just seems odd to me.
how much? The one next to JJ Moons, The Liquor Station... Pricier,
The Torch had about 4 staff one wearing a Watford shirt moaning that he couldn't watch their game.
What other business would turn away punters willing to pay £5 for nearly a pint in plastic glasses?
I gave up on the green man a while ago. Nice pub but a trek and no atmosphere.
I think you've answered your own question there mate. What's moorspice like? I hear it's the bill nick lot that run it on match days?
