I'll leave it at that.

So, that's Tim Sherwood's Twitter handle.relegation!!!!
Even if Inter lose at home to Barca it's all over , best we can hope is third place and Europa, just as well I held off buying a ticket for the home PSV game , money saved.
More pathetic mistakes in CL, not content with messing up against Barca , Lloris does it again but he is a genius according to the manager. The pace we want to play at just strolling around is so poor, we had no chance of winning CL but getting out of the group would have made a bit more money to pay for the stadium. Not seen Poch interview , I'm sure will probably go on about possession , what's the good of that without scoring.

1. The player was not going to get to the ball, so it was not a clear goal-scoring opportunityJust read this....
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino told BT Sport: "[Our chances of qualifying are] nearly over. We'll see what happens now in the game between Barcelona and Inter Milan but with only one point after three games, it will be so difficult.
"If we need to blame someone it's ourselves because with all the situations and the circumstances in the game you must win because I think we were much better than them.
"But the tempo sometimes was so slow and it's a situation where we need to think a little bit because in this type of game, at 2-1 you must kill the game. If not, the opponent is alive.
"The situation with Hugo was maybe unfair but that can happen in football. But if you score more goals you are going to win the game. That is why we are so disappointed, not with the decisions but with ourselves because it's a game you must win."
Can someone please explain to me what was 'unfair' about sending Hugo off ????

Too far.Stoners? As in Life of Brian and ISIS?
1. The player was not going to get to the ball, so it was not a clear goal-scoring opportunity
2. Lloris did not make any movement with his legs, his momentum took him forward, and the player left his leg in, knowing that he wasn't going to get to the ball.
If VAR was involved, we would have won tonight. The ref was atrocious.
The player actually touches the ball just before Lloris made contact to try and score and I think you'll find he took out both his legs my friend....sorry but it's a sending off all day for me.
Ah, you are talking about psychedelic mind-altering fungi.Too far.
... Probably.Ah, you are talking about psychedelic mind-altering fungi.
I was trying to explain the reasoning, but my point remains that actually he did not have a clear goal-scoring opportunity and so I'd argue that it should have been a yellow. I think our players were not happy with the officials and with good reason.
Whether it was a clear goal scoring chance or not doesn't really matter.I was trying to explain the reasoning, but my point remains that actually he did not have a clear goal-scoring opportunity and so I'd argue that it should have been a yellow. I agree that he should never have rushed out of the area, but the contact with the player was not with his feet. He needs to stand further out and trust his defenders if he is not going to. He absolutely has cost us three points, as has Alderweireld. Eriksen did make the second goal, but it was also his fault for their second goal. He also should've buried a shot when he was in on goal.I think the sending off was more for the nature of the tackle rather than denying a goal scoring opportunity...Lloris went in with both feet and the lad could have been seriously injured. It was a rash and unnecessary challenge that has ultimately cost us three points....the referee should never had such a decision to make...Hugo should not have rushed out of his area like that.....we will agree to differ
There were 2 defenders covering. Never a red card - the tackle was not high or dangerous!Whether it was a clear goal scoring chance or not doesn't really matter.
The tackle itself was dreadful - it was studs up, nowhere near the ball and at pace.

Watch the video back, you can see Lloris' boot with studs up go in to the PSV player's leg. There were 2 defenders covering. Never a red card - the tackle was not high or dangerous!
