Yeah I think it’s been inevitable for about a week or so. I think the only thing that stops it now is the players striking and refusing to play.
One thing I don’t get. They are having to train in masks but not play in them. What’s the point?

My guess is that the restrictions may be less when they plan to start, so masks not needed

No change in what we are doing. Each country has gone into lock down at different times, had the curve of deaths and new cases go down at different times so will all have to work to their own situations.

How are their players going to be match fit? Seems crazy to me. They’ll be lots of injuries.

Ok fair enough, a lot has changed since then. Although I don't think its 100% clear cut yet. Players have a massive say.
The problem is, the season shouldnt restart. But apparently owners money > peoples lives

I have good info on this and I have been told June 8th on a few occasions. Haven't heard anything for over a week but I have been positing little updates in here so if I hear anything I will continue to do so. I'll chase it up today.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if self interest and squabbling between clubs only focussed on their short term goals manages to string this out so long it becomes too late and teams start going pop. That would be modern football in a nutshell.
