Villa & West Ham also opposed to neutral venues, so that's 3 out of 7 that would need to reject it for it to effectively bring an early end to the season.
Would assume all teams in danger of relegation would oppose

I think the season restarting is fairly inevitable which is fucking stupid.

Yeah I think it’s been inevitable for about a week or so. I think the only thing that stops it now is the players striking and refusing to play.

One thing I don’t get. They are having to train in masks but not play in them. What’s the point?

My guess is that the restrictions may be less when they plan to start, so masks not needed

Merkel says Bundesliga will start mid May.
Wonder where that leaves us.

No change in what we are doing. Each country has gone into lock down at different times, had the curve of deaths and new cases go down at different times so will all have to work to their own situations.

Has been inevitable for a lot longer than that.
So now you have changed your mind (or actually understood realism) are you declaring yourself a simpleton, like you did anybody that believed season would restart less than 2 weeks ago ?

What the fuck are you on about now?

I havent called anyone in this thread a simpleton, although I'm pretty tempted to make a start!

Your post from April 24, calling anybody that thought season would return as simpletons

I have good info on this and I have been told June 8th on a few occasions. Haven't heard anything for over a week but I have been positing little updates in here so if I hear anything I will continue to do so. I'll chase it up today.

Metalhead

But that's a debate for another thread.....

That's interesting because that's a lot later than was suggested yesterday. It'll be interesting to see if you get an update today.

There are 5 stage documents circulating that have behind closed doors returning in phase 3 from 29th June, and that's if stage 1 and 2 go smoothly. Absolutely not ITK, but thought it was interesting none the less

Any idea what stage 1 and 2 are? My guess would be training and testing?!

It wouldn't surprise me at all if self interest and squabbling between clubs only focussed on their short term goals manages to string this out so long it becomes too late and teams start going pop. That would be modern football in a nutshell.

The only winners here will be lawyers.
