I like this, the journalist sounds nervous.

ETH will have no easy ride in his job. Love that bewildered face. There will be alot more.
In one sense he did well to make out that it wasn’t just Ronaldo that walked out at half time, taking the heat off the poor boy ?. In another sense he’s highlighted that several players walked out at half time which doesn’t really bode well for his relationship with the squad.

He’d have been better off saying something like “I made it clear to Ronaldo that this wasn’t acceptable. And the club has made it clear we have no plans of selling him. Next question.“

Instead he got into an awkward back and forth. I think he’s going to get eaten alive by the press, especially if they don’t start the season well.

Klopp already moaning about fixture congestion and comparing it to Climate Change. I hate that guy

Are arsenal missing anyone? Their bench is shocking.
I was about to say the same thing. A few injuries and fingers crossed that happens because if it does, they are fucked. They are so happy with themselves for their summer transfer business but they really haven’t brought enough players in unless they are going to throw the Europa league.

Apparently he's known for not having a great relationship with the Dutch press, and can be tetchy in pressers.

But he's no fool and in that clip he's right. The journo was trying to frame it as a narrative about Ronaldo and Ten Hag wasn't having it.

The journo's follow up "question" about Ronaldo was just vague waffle about there being "talk" about Ronaldo this summer. ETH was right to ask what he meant.

I have to laugh at Arsenal fans.

I was watching one of those shitty PL prediction podcasts earlier and a fan of another team said "You reckon Arteta will play a back 4?"
To which the Gooner fan responded clearly irritated at the question "Of course he fucking will."

Arteta starts with a back 3 :ROFLMAO:

Eeeeaaagles (for tonight anyway). I remember playing them last year and the atmosphere they create seemed incredible. Hopefully the same again tonight and the gooners crumble.

This is important. Their starting XI is good but once injuries/suspensions kick in it will affect them.
Tierney is on the bench and is decent but other than that it is average.
Smith Rowe & Tomayisu appear to be the only ones missing from the squad.

If they win tonight they have a favourable run of games and could be flying after 6 games but to have a really good season they will have to be very lucky with injuries imo.
