I'd be happy with this, although unlikely to be the actual fixtures!

Any news yet on when arsenal fancy playing us? I’m assuming the dates for our games against them are only a guideline at this point…

This is so weird you’d guess sky may have it.

Can’t see this becoming a regular thing. I know Ben Foster got stick from Watford for wearing his in a game once. Surely it’s too much of a distraction.

Should be a decent season:
  • City strengthened thier attack with Haaland but have lost Fernandinho & Sterling so stylistically may change a little. Smart money will be on them crushing the league.
  • Liverpool losing Mane is not being spoken about enough. He was the basis of most of thier aggressive press in final third. They will obv still be very good but I believe they’ll drop more points via frustrating draws than last season due to losing his edge.
  • Chelsea are so hard to judge, they have all the building blocks but lack any distinct style or personality. You’d think they should boss most games but do they have a consistent goal scorer?
  • We’ve strengthened our squad and added depth and variation but do we have the creativity to break down deep lying teams? Still feel we need a decent set piece taker to give us that extra threat against deep lying teams. Would love to see us challenge for the title but I just can’t see it.
  • Arsenal have strengthened but the age old issues are still there. They’ll steamroll some teams and flatter to deceive against others while the top teams should have too much for them. Should be comfortable 5-7th place
  • Utd it’s far too early to know what’s going on. They have some real quality but can Ten Hag get them ticking? If he can, they’ll battle us & Chelsea for 3-5th but if the Ronaldo circus stays in town and disrupts the atmosphere I can see them joining Arsenal in the ‘best of the rest category’.

Prediction:
  1. City (pts range 90-100)
  2. Liverpool (85-95)
  3. Spurs (75-85)
  4. Utd (65-80)
  5. Chelsea (65-75)
  6. Arsenal (60-75)
  7. WHam, Palace, Newcastle, Leicester (50-60)

A pretty good round of predictions from these guys. Although In 2021-22 they had Man City (77.1%), Liverpool (12.8%), Man Utd (5.6%), Chelsea (3.3%) then Arsenal (0.8%).

No Elise or McArthur for Palace and Gallagher has gone back to Chelsea. Tomkins also a doubt.

Emile Smith Rowe, is struggling with a groin issue. Kieran Tierney, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Fabio Vieira are all recovering from injuries, with Mikel Arteta admitting that "most of them" will be available.

Welcome back PL. It'll be nice to be able to watch a few league games without constantly feeling sick.

Only found out today that one of the rule changes this season is the introduction of the multi-ball system used in European competition. I don't know why our league is always so far behind, but it's about time this was brought in, should help to increase average playing time per game.

This happened a lot during the last run in. Fooling nobody.
Strange strategy.

Disappointing that Olise is out. When him, Eze and Zaha are all on the pitch Palace can be really entertaining to watch.

Was getting a coffee at work and so a woman on an Arsenal shirt. (Classy in an office environ) so started chatting to her about the season ahead. She was shutting herself about playing Palace and when I asked about Arteta she said she loves him. I said you can’t trust a man with those eyebrows I then asked if she’d seen any of All or Nothing and she hadn’t heard of it. I said watch it and the. Tel me you still love Mickey.
