I'm not one to endorse stereotypes, but if you asked me what someone who would zip tie themselves to the goalposts at a football game would look like, I'd probably say a bespectacled Gail Platt

The same way an angry Everton fan got onto the pitch to lunge at him.
That's slightly less time than it takes to tie your next to a goalpost - Everton stewards are about as good as their team at present

I think it’s extinction rebellion. Coordinated actions but actually they bought us some respite from this dirge of a football match.

I hope not. The current bottom 3 would do just fine for me. Real shame Newcastle seem to be saving themselves.
Burnley yes fully on board.

But not having to listen to Everton fans screaming absolute murder every time someone tackles one of their players once a season would be sublime.

I'm not sure that a dramatic attempt to stop play is quite so unusual in any game where Richarlison's playing

I like watching Pickford's clangers in the Merseyside derby too much.
