Unbelievable as it may seem, we are actually currently1point better off on same fixtures than last season.

No need to hit the panic button, yet.

It's so sadly typical of us to be even talking in terms of Pochettino not lasting much beyond this season. We can't change managers every time we suffer a few iffy results FFS. This has been our biggest problem of late. Give the guy a chance to get things right. He needs about two years and if we need to finish outside the Ropey League places for a year, that might actually do us the world of good in the longer term.

Don't get me wrong, I want us to win every match we play, but let's face it, we're currently light years behind those scummy plastic bastards from west London and a top four finish is probably beyond us this season, but it's no biggy. We'll make it in our own time and on our own terms, once he's given the chance to put everything right, and I reckon that's two full seasons.

I'd rather see most of the players gone before Poch based on some of their 'efforts' this season.

Very few of them look like they want to be at the club so I'd rather pack them off than Poch to be honest.

My only plus from MoPo is that he has at last got rid of a few players that should not have been at the club. But they were mainly peripheral players. And as a couple have said I think he may have ripped the heart out of the club by ditching Michael.

It's heartening to read these posts and know that there are actually some sensible, level headed fans around!

Given our relatively kind fixture list so far I was expecting a little more than what we have seen, but not a lot more. Maybe a couple of more points.

I think some are expecting too much. Much is made of the supposed quality we have but there has been very little evidence of it in a Tottenham shirt from these players. I do not trust them, Lloris aside, who frankly is far too good for this team and deserves much better.

Our transfer policy really needs an overhaul. We have ad a terible window yet again, failing to improve the side one bit and spending nothing yet again. We were never going to improve with that approach. The squad is a total mishmash of players thrown together with little thought. Half of them don't seem to possess any qualities needed to succeed in England. Very strange and so far is looking to be a little disastrous.

I hope Poch is given a fair crack of the whip. That means a good old fashioned clear out and shaping the squad to suit not only the league it competes in but also the system he wants to implement.

I suspect there are clauses in his contract. Finish outside Europa places/top half etc and Levy can get rid for a nominal fee. I fully expect him to last the season at the very least. If he goes before that then Levy has to be in the firing line himself.

It was sad to see Dawson leave but there were plenty who felt that it was the right time. Personally, I can't really make my mind up. We can't keep a player based purely on spirit and fighting grit but I kind of think he still had something to offer. Still, we move on.

Levy is a part owner of ENIC who own Spurs. He is unlikely to sack himself.

Exactly. If people love up to the managerial revolving door so much they should look to leeds utd for their fix. Go follow them and you get your new manager 'high' once a month.

Yes. Logically you get rid of Dawson. But football and life is not about logic.

Michael Dawson is not some sort of talisman. Can we please end this, it's spectacularly insane.

That's true. I wonder how many people who were slagging him off every week for being a yard off the pace now feel differently.

I don't mean the actual firing line, but the focus has to be on him. He is the one constant in all these fuck ups.

I expect he still has people he has to answer to despite being a shareholder.

I'm not saying get rid. Far from it.

But his passivity and general slouching on the bench does irk me.

And his constant picking of shitty Ade really grates.

But for me he needs 2 transfer Windows before we can judge. Fuck levys 8 games and your fucked system.

Form will be up and down all season. Unless we're bottom or something I think he'll have at least until next Christmas.
