I think the only two on that list that can handle Levy will be Poch (he knows what to expect) and Gallardo cos he dealt with having to sell to spend.

I know we are a rich club but that won't change how we approach the market.

I'll save you the click

An article that implies a quote in the headline.....but no actual quote - just regurgitated speculation that we've heard a million times

and I bet those that are pleading with him are the ones that we need to get rid off in the summer if we're ever going to improve!

This identification of Poch as potential saviour (much as I LOVED the first part of his time with us) strikes me as the same impulse that drives people to vote every four years thinking that if only their guy/gal gets in, this time everything will be different. I mean, we *might* win silverware under Poch, but seriously - let’s temper the expectations a bit. Same for those who think kicking Levy out will fix things, or even necessarily improve them.

Well the only players it's going to be are the ones who've played under him before.

I don't know if Poch is the answer or not; I'd feel more comfortable if he'd been in another job since PSG and if the likes of Winks weren't still on our books!

Thought I would look in here as bored. Hate having flu viruses.

Anyway looks like nothing to see as we all suspected. However it does call to mind a quote from Danny Rose, usually forgotten a second later. He talked of when Poch called him into his office the next day after a game. Expecting some nice words after a decent performance what he got was 26 video clips of mistakes he made. People who weirdly think Poch is some kind of softie have no idea. Is he right for us now? I have no idea but we don't have to rubbish him.

Yea and that for me is the sign of a coach. Actually works to improve players

That's the same for any manager. I think I'm the last 20 years the managers most of us got behind were Jol, Redknapp and Poch. Ultimately, the reason was simple, they played the way we expect Tottenham play. They bought positivity to the place. They bought personality to the place

Jol and Redknapp were handicapped by us being a stepping stone club at the time, and Poch was unlucky to have exceeded expectations and got totally screwed by Levy on transfers.

Right now, we need stability. I love the players Fabio has bought in but the style of play he wants us to implement goes against the historical and expected style of the club.
