I think he's been really poor and thought he was really poor at Newcastle too.

But is literally a single attacking player playing well right now?

Eriksen is having a shocking season. Dele looks shadow of last seasons player. Lamela was shocking before he got injured. Janssen has been atrocious. Son after purple patch has lost the plot. Kane in the goals but not exactly on form yet. NKoudou is a figment of your imagination.

Scapegoats would be more fun if our attacking play wasn't a joke right now.

I know...let's all blame sissoko

Give the guy a break
It was you wasn't it? That singular vote at the top..lol. I don't blame him for our current situation, but it was a pointless signing even if we had got him for £10m. What does he bring to the team? From what I've seen a good ability to use his elbow and sod all else. Don't think any of the barcodes would disagree much.

I agree, it's an interesting question, and whilst I'm firmly in the "give him time" camp, if I had to make any judgement on him right now I agree with the general sentiment on here and he's just not good enough. If he was able to do some of the shit he did at the Euro's (granted it had as much final product as what he does for us) at least I could rest easy thinking Poch would work on that finishing of his or something but he just isn't giving us... anything.

Your judging him after probably less than 10 appearances for us.everybody deserves a chance. He hasn't had a run in the team and no pre-season. He is also trying to adapt to a team which is currently struggling for an identity and style of play. Our front players from last season are currently playing with no chemistry so it's even more difficult for a new player to settle

Need to sell him in January quite frankly, whoever thought he would be a decent signing needs to have a word with themselves, or frankly be sacked.

I think he was not that bad today. At least one good pass that creates chances. Maybe it is because others are even worse today. Not worth 30m obviously though

travesty that people put him and Janssen in the same boat. Janssen at least shows fight and glimpses of quality.

No way am I buying that! Sissoko was just as bad at Newcastle, hence why all the rofl threads in Newcastle's forums. Two of my Geordie mates who have been diehard for 30+ yrs text me to say "Thankyou & enjoy lol". He is toilet. 1 game in a 100 he'll have for us. We paid £30m for him and some on here are still giving Lamela a kicking for his over priced tag!

Jeez if we get £5m for him come Jan or whenever I will see that as a success!

With all due respect,Newcastle are and have been a poor side for a few years.its always going to be harder to perform in a side in a relegation battle. The French national side obviously rate him and he showed what a quality player he can be in the euros. He is still making the squad if not the first 11 ahead of many other quality players. I think there is a player in there somewhere. I agree as it stands at the moment it looks like a shocking bit of business but let's judge him at the end of the season

I'm hoping he won't make the end of the season in a spurs shirt tbh.....
