Watching this just annoyed me tbh. I mean, it’s not surprising, but still annoying.

Overall though, the better he does there, the better it is for us in the long run.
I watched some of the game and couldn't believe how slow it was. He had all the time in the world and was walking around the middle of the pitch with hardly an opposition player in sight. He didn't like it here because he got clattered a few times and didn't have the space. The difference in the pace of that league and ours in startling. Fingers crossed he stays looking good over there ambling about and we get him off our books. Nothing he will do in that league will impress me. He's never a Premier League player.

Don’t look at me. I’m irrelevant.

I saw this too. No pressure on the ball, he could just do what he wanted. Lots of time. Totally different game in France.

It kind of suggests to me what I susepcted. That he doesn't have a good enough all round game to cope with the Prem.

Come on, we were clobbered by Rennes. That physicality and pace of the EPL...all hype

Me neither.

I'm sure he watched a fair bit of it, though.

Seeing more and more criticising recent displays. Worries me, as I was hoping he would so ok enough to recover a chunk of the money we paid on this guy.

Still in disbelief at what a failure our scouting department was on this transfer.

My impression was the scouting picked all this up, but that Poch was backing himself to coach the apathy out of him. We all know how that played out.

It's amazing how Poch got the expensive players he chose in Ndombele and Lo Celso for a manager who apparently wasn't backed
