That’ team would get torn to shreds with that central midfield!
If we had no interest in keeping the ball and playing football, you're right it would! If we wanted to keep the ball and dominate a team, could do a lost worse than that trio. If we constantly want the other team to have the ball there's no point playing our footballers.

Would prefer
Lloris
Sanchez/Tanganga Romero Dier/Rodon
Emerson Ndom/Skipp Hojberg Lo Celso/Dele Reguilon
Kane Son

Wing Backs supporting mid and attack, also wouldn't mind Lucas as an RM in this formation. Whoever is playing best/rotation etc
Bergwin, Gil, Davies, plus others get to play of course as circumstances

What a team that could be:

Lloris
Royal sanchez Romero reguilon
Hojbjerg
Ndombele LoCelso
Gil Kane Son
Yeah but that would require some kind of bold visionary of a manager who does crazy experiments like playing our best players in a balanced formation with roles that suit them and the team.

Much safer and more sensible to play Dele as a central mid and GUARANTEE a free flowing defensively rock solid quick passing team. It’s like when I go fishing and my mates bring their weird nets and shit and I’m like ‘whatever, dickheads‘ and whip out my saucepan with a massive hole in it.

I also feel a lot more comfortable with Gil on the left as he’s left footed and we’re in danger of him being able to take a shot and worse case scenario, us scoring, with inverted wing forwards like all those shit champions league teams.

Mason had a handful of games and didn’t pick a player with a bad attitude? Doesn’t sound like a bad choice if you want to make the best of your short time in charge.
Can you point this so called bad attitude out? He was a starter for probably the man with the least tolerance for bad attitudes in football.

I hear you but I think Nuno needs to coach our more creative midfielders discipline and workrate rather than rely on our on our current workhorses for creativity.

I agree! The BIG question is if Ndombele though have the attitude to want to increase his work rate and discipline. Unfortunately we have seen over his time with us he can be very lazy and not track back. I’m very unsure if his attitude will ever change during his time with us.

OK so although I'm frustrated by Ndombele and his lack application by all accounts in getting himself fit. He is probably one of our only players who I would specifically pay to watch. I know he is lazy and doesn't do the work going backwards, but he is more entertaining than our whole team put together. And considering we're not going anywhere fast this season I'd rather just watch him play.

He's one of the only players that actually has any technical ability and the only one that I get excited by starting.

Ridiculously talented some moments in that second half are ronadlinho level skill set but I just don’t think he’s a Centre mid I wonder if e just just play him as the 10
