Poch worked Ndombele to hard so he went lazy, Mourinho gave him to much freedom to get fat, Mcdonalds Is placed to close to Ndombeles home and Spurs dont put gards around every fast food place so of course there is not Tanguy fault he cant fulfill his potential.

Come on! The guy (MAN) is already 24years old. not some 17-18year old kid that dont know what is good or bad. He is paid money that could feed many many thousands of people around the world and most importantly (we as fans pay for it) His respect towards the club is 0 and i repate ZERO!

When do we draw the line ? When do we as fans say "hey WT* Is going on here?! To accept this is the same as accepting failure

I'm one of his biggest supporters, love him as a player.

But if he still doesn't shape up this preseason then he needs to be shipped out by deadline day.

If it's fitness related I find it odd he was in the early pre-season training pictures but not the recent ones.

The problem I see with Ndombele is the lack of impact he has on games. Yes he has good technical ability but how often has that ability actually affected the result of a game for us in a positive manner - compare that with the number of times that us carrying him because he's not fit or not interested has negatively impacted the result of a game for us and at the moment I don't think there is any competition.

I think he'll be given another chance this season (mainly because of the fact that no one is going to take him off our hands for anywhere near what we paid for him or pay him anywhere near 200k per week) but I do think that if this is another mediocre season for him then this should be the last of his chances.

People used criticize Dembele too for lack of goals and assists, and now it's we never replaced him

The fact is NDombele was unlucky to join during our most turbulent two years in ages and be managed differently by both managers.

He needs time under a single manager who will play him the right way. That might be NES, it might not be

I think what Herc meant was players are at different levels of there preseason not strictly to do with the bloke being unfit or over weight that side of fitness. Sessengnon and Reguilon were also amongst first in and not present just different stages of pre season

He’s in the same boat as Doherty, Reguilon, and Sessegnon so far, yet he’s the only one being questioned. It really isn’t that deep. And definitely shouldn’t be singled out without any proof of anything. It’s really boring and tiring.

Here we go again with the Tanguy's fat, Tanguy doesn't try hard, wasted talent, etc etc posts.

Yeh just no need for it I agree. I'm not too worried about not seeing him in the first couple of pre-season games. It's pre-season, everyone gets there at different times fitness wise and coping with the training levels and concepts. He'll be just fine.

He's probably rested like most of the senior players that were in full training at the start of the pre-season. Because those involved from first team in friendlies:
  • didn't play much last season(Dele, Bergwijn)
  • weren't in full training since start(Son, Skipp and Japhet)
  • their future is probably still undecided(Winks, Lucas, Dier)

Perhaps... Maybe... Potentially... they have him, plus a few others on a different fitness regime. One that can get them past whatever physical threshold has been holding them back. Plus, could be that he is carrying a small issue or two, and therefore they don't want to risk further aggravating a possible problem, before the season kicks off.

My guess is, we'll see him feature a lot in the Arsenal/Chelsea pre-season friendlies.

Would it surprise anyone that he's getting special attention this pre-season? After all, isn't he one of the top 3 best paid players at the club? He's our most expensive transfer ever. And over the last two years, he has 1) Taken time to settle being in England, during a pandemic 2) Went through two very different managers 3) Struggled with injuries and fitness in year 1... which then resulted in 4) Lack of confidence and application.

It's clear to see, that when he is in full flow, he's breathtaking. Sadly, this side of him has been very inconsistent. Not just game-to-game, but also within games.

Nuno, his staff, and the DoF, all know much more about players than the peanut gallery here on SC. I would suspect they all view him as extremely talented. But to maximize his potential, they have to do something different from his prior two preseasons. As clearly it hasn't clicked. But if Nuno, et al can get him to play to the best of his ability on a consistent basis, that would be phenomenal.

Based on the system we're seeing so far, it looks like a variety of: 433 (defensively), 4213 (transition-thru to-attack), and a 343 (in attack). From what I can tell, I think Dele was playing the role which would sit on the left of right side of the 433 in midfield when defending. Then take up a floating number 10 role when transitioning the ball upfield. That feels like a perfect position for Tanguy. If they can get the best out of him.

I hope we hang on to Lucas for one more season. We have been super-patient with the wee fella, but I feel he's finally going to have a true break-out season. He was often one of the best, hardest working players on the field, during the last third of last season. A front 3 of himself, Sonny and Kane, with the likes of Tanguy in a 10 behind them, could work well.

But, who knows what Nuno and the others are thinking right now. Seems like everyone's up for debate. Perhaps with only a handful of exceptions. One of which is Tanguy. Whom I don't believe is going anywhere.

Please tell me how exactly his respect towards the club is 0?

Well where should I start. And I am not talking about Ndombele personally I talk about the fotball player. I tried to explain the disrespect towards us fans ( a part of the club) how put our hard earnd money every week into his Mcdonalds addition... but I can take it from the perspective towards his working colleagues. Think about how much time and effort so many people that work for the club put in just to give that guy the best opportunities. From the cook to the fitness coach. The hours that they put in does not mean nothing to him when he does what he does.

Then think about from the players perspective. He is one with the highest wages but after every holiday he comes back and has been unprofessional, not taking care of his body, eating Mcdonalnd and shit during the whole time ( then why should I who earn less than him need to put in even the same amount of effort) When the supporters and the club still back him... That shit spreads. When one part of the apple is rutten you dont look and say hey 95% of the apple is good.....

Totaly disrespectful... Hope He goes to Milan. They did the same before. Accepterd lazyness Ronaldinho, Robinho and Pato for example. Because they had talent but it spread and the club became a joke for some years...

If Ndombele wants to commit and put a shift in this season then he will be the first name on the team sheet as he has all the ability in the world. But there shouldn't be an if about that its the bare minimum for any professional and the fact there is always that doubt probably means he will never realize his potential and we should probably cut our losses.
