I saw Ndombele at a Waitrose in London last week. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Mars Bars in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical interference,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Maybe you should take ITK with a pinch of salt, as the mods constantly assert. It's not meant to be seen as gospel and the fact people can turn on our players based on it is pretty wild.

Yeh it's just some silly copypasta. I don't think it's ever been a true story, just the internet being the internet.
I think it's true that when it comes to ITK people do need to understand depending where the information is coming from it won't be narrative free. And the information may be passed in good faith but might be given with an agenda.
I have nothing against Ndombele, nothing at all, but I don't think he has produced last season, and it's clear the club wants out. So in my mind he's gone, and lets hope we get the best deal possible and I wish him luck. But, I'm not a fan of keeping a player just because of potential if the club clearly are not on side.

Maybe you don’t, but you have a fair few knuckleheads that have taken ITKs saying he hasn’t been showing up at training etc as gospel.
There’s obviously something in it, as Jose doesn’t pick him - but some people have used the info to affirm their existing agendas against him and as a stick to beat him with. I.e. @spursfan77 yesterday 100% seriously blaming Ndombele for contracting Covid-19 - then pathetically, and utterly embarrassingly, claiming he was fishing for bites.

Sorting out Ndombele is really the ultimate X Factor of our season. If he were to get fit and get his head on straight he’d be a massive addition to our midfield alongside Hojbjerg and Lo Celso. There’s no denying his talent.
On the flip side, if we were able to sell him at a reasonable price, let’s say £40-45m, and get back in Sabitzer or a more expensive Kane back up or even Skirniar that would be a massive boost to squad.
The worst case scenario is him sticking around and barely playing. If he either comes good or we spend the money well, I’d take us over United to nick the fourth spot. If it remains the way it is now I think we’re underdogs for a UCL spot.
