I think they're a split off from the former twitter account @EuroUnited6 which seemed to have good inside knowledge at PSG. The account split into @parisunited6 and the Soccer Link one posted in the thread. Think EuroUnited was first to report on Aurier and Lucas, but I don't know about their other contacts
What? I assume you've read the rules and know them well enough by now.
Paris United were first and then Euro United became a spin-off, and was recently changed to Soccer Link. From what I've seen I don't think they are that reliable at all, and they definitely weren't the first to report on Aurier and Lucas.I think they're a split off from the former twitter account @EuroUnited6 which seemed to have good inside knowledge at PSG. ManU don't do anything quiet. Everything is a PR campaign. If they've bid and agreed terms with the player there is a 0% chance it's not going to light up their media circles in the next day (or even would have already if this is old news). I'm skeptical.https://soccerlink.fr/2019/06/19/no...ter-united-accelerent-pour-ndombele-2099.html
TOTTENHAM, JUVENTUS AND MANCHESTER UNITED ACCELERATE FOR NDOMBELE
The Spurs, Manchester United and Juventus have submitted a first bid of € 60 million to engage the services of the French international community. Which would make him the biggest transfer of OL history.
First offer at 60M € ...
The French international enjoys an important rating on the European scene. Faced with this competition of which he is fully aware, Levy is determined to take action quickly, in significant proportions. The president of the Spurs has carefully prepared his offensive by scrutinizing the market and launched, in recent hours, a first bid approaching € 60 million.
€ 90m is what Lyon and Jean-Michel Aulas are officially asking for to release Ndombele . His profile of athletic, powerful, technical and performing in major events, continues to excite the continental market.
Juventus and Manchester on offense, PSG attentive
Ndombele has other courtiers. Real Madrid has an option for the French midfielder, although no agreement exists between the player and the Madrid club, he remains one of the targets of the short list for the tracks of Madrid.
If PSG remains attentive to its situation, Juventus and Manchester United, have a contractual agreement with the player. The latter formulated a proposal similar to that of Tottenham, ie 60M €. Offer that should not be enough to acquire the old friend.
If they want to complete the deal, the clubs will have to play tight and get as close to the demands of Lyon. Because in this folder, the player is not in a hurry. He did not set a goal of leaving OL this summer. And even if the idea of playing abroad can interest him, he will not force anything.
I meant Levy not realizing the window closed...I'll have a 1m bet with you now it won't happen on the 30th, in fact we won't sign anyone on the 30th
the window closes @ 17:00 on the 8th
Where the hell did 90m come from?!
Look at what’s going on with AWB - or at least my interpretation of it: Figures of £55m being bandied around, which we’re not prepared to pay, so we step back. Quoting the ITKs: we’re not prepared to overpay for him.
So we realise the bid/ask spread is too high and we don’t engage.
If Lyon were asking for €90m for Ndombele then we would be looking elsewhere IMO and it really feels that for the (crudely) Dembele replacement (strong, good dribbling, etc) we’ve put most of our eggs in that basket. Or at least if we haven’t, we’ve kept the alternatives very quiet. I can’t remember another window where we were consistently (I’m ignoring the nonsense out of Portugal) linked with so few players, and I mean that in a good way
