PSG not a good place at present

So the 'gossip' I read on BBC earlier could actually have some truth to it.

Paris St-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel says he cannot guarantee Brazil forward Neymar, 27, and 20-year-old France striker Kylian Mbappe, will be at the French champions next season - but he wants them to stay.

If we could get get Ndombele, Lo Celso, AWB, Sessignon, and Clarke/Grealish, only losing Toby and CE, our change of play could do us better. And if it’s possible adding Bale (probably unrealistic, but there is a chance) then we’re firing. I’d personally say to Dier ‘right, Now’s your chance to step up and be our no1
defender next to Jan’

Agree with most of this but if Toby goes, then we need a real replacement.
While I love Eric for his decent squad versatility. We need a fuckng proper CB.

surely it is Verts and Sanchez first choice pairing
Dier first reserve CB
Could see Davies become back up to Verts and Foyth in the mix as well

I like Ndombele but we've been linked to Diawara again for just 20m euro and i'd be absolutely delighted were we to pull off Lo Celso and that one.

I still think Diawara is a hidden gem who can't get in a team with some super midfield players. Good defensively, decent engine and passes forward impressively. He would be perfect for a team that needs to switch midfield numbers during a game. He is like a Winks/Wanyama hybrid.

My concern with Ndombele is probably a lack of restraint. That's not necessarily a bad thing but i'm not sure he would be able to operate as a holding midfielder.

Ideally we sign Ndombele as Dembele replacement, Lo Celso as Eriksen replacement and a DM like Diawara or Berge to replace Wanyama.

WOW neymar is 27? Jeez what a waste of talent imo! Should have made much more of his natutal ability.
Heard yer da thinks Neymar wasted his talent when he’s easily a top 10-15 player in the world. Obviously if he dived less he’d be more well liked but to say he is a waste of talent is honestly up there as one of the worst opinions I’ve seen recently

Would be unreal especially if we could get one of the latter two on the cheap
We always fail to complete one or two necessary transfers every window. Just gonna be interesting who out of Trippier, Toby, Wanyama and Llorente we're going to fail to replace.

Out of those if I was forced I'd say probably Llorente. But if you could tell me we'd have Aurier healthy playing like he did this year and KWP backing him up I might lean towards Trippier not being replaced.

The writing’s on the wall for Victor, unfortunately. I’d be very surprised if he wasn’t replaced

Wouldn't be end of the world if we failed to replace Alder, We have Vert, Sanchez, Foyth and Dier for the cb roles, Llorente I'm fine not replacing as we can switch it up with Son, Moura and fingers crossed Lo Celso. Other 2 need replacing.

You jumped the gun abit there didnt you? I said he hasnt made the most of his talent and its true. Natural ability he has it in him to be a top 2 or 3 in the world but as you said hes in the top 15.

Wasted talent doesnt mean i think he's S*** it just means he should have achieved MORE.

Your post was honestly up there in terms of jumping the gun. :finger:

Agreed it’s hugely frustrating always being one player away. I think 15/16 and 16/17 we made some very common sense and logical signings and they came with large improvement in performances. Those seasons we had no huge gaps in the squad.
