Can't think of a bigger flop in the prem this season to be fair.

considering that when he has played he's just about been our best player that is such a ridiculous statement that I don't even know why i'm bothering replying to it.

You do know arsenal signed pepe, luiz, ceballos etc. and that's just one team.

Hell, Sessegnon has been a bigger flop than Ndombele

Imagine thinking an injured teenager who wasn't back in to full training until sometime in September has been a bigger flop than our record signing who had a preseason ...

That video is fucking embarrassing, professional footballer looks like pub league player ...

We're a club that keeps on giving not only off the football pitch, but on it.

I'm not throwing in the towel yet. You can get fit but you can't learn the ability he has. I'm hopeful that someone can get through to him and we can benefit from having him around. It would certainly help to find a DM who can cover the ground he doesn't.

he's been our best player. Literally LOLS Have you been on the Youtube reels again? Not got over that amazeballs rabona, (the skillz.,,)

The size of the flop is relative to the outlay and expectation. There has been no bigger flop in the premier league this season. Guy cost over 50m, paid 200k and even then makes waddling around half heartedly for 20mins a month look like a massive chore.

He might turn it around, but that doesnt change the here and now.

Cant keep saying it, this is what we're dealing with here.

The funniest part of all this will be when Tanguy starts and has a good game, can you imagine all the misunderstood nonsense that's going to come into the thread like he's proven some people wrong.

I'll be fucking delighted.

I wouldn't care if, after 'x' amount of games, people started having a pop at me, it'd mean we're getting the player so many thought he was. Right now we have a nothing.

Spurs entire season mirrors that video of him, good times.

Yeah, that's it.

When he has a good game I look forward to the joy he brings us all. Until then.

How many months need to pass before he recovers enough from 'playing in a foreign league' to be able to run for more than 15 minutes.

Sissoko is mentoring him.

Fucking hell. It's come to that.

Sissoko had a truly dreadful start with us but showed great character to get through that - he more than anybody knows how difficult it can be when things aren't going great - plus he is French. Sounds like the perfect fit to me.

Everyone saying he has been a flop, ok he might not be as fit as others (at the moment) He has 2 goals 2 assists in the Premier League compared to Lo Celso's zero. Give him a break, he will come good eventually...

I think most of you are forgetting how bad Sissoko was when we purchased him for 30 million quid, he was just as bad technically as Ndombele is fitness wise, to be honest at the time probably worse. He couldn't even manage short simple passes, nothing would go right for him.

Most of our fan base wrote him off within the first 6 months as nothing more than a squad filler with little to nothing to offer the team. Fast forward 3 years, and he wins the player's player of the year award. This coming from a player who HAD PL experience with Newcastle.

Dembele didn't set the world on fire when he joined from Fulham, another PL team, and he became one of the greatest midfielders we've ever had.

This instant gratification mentality on here is embarrassing, sometimes players hit the ground running and sometimes it takes a season or two to come to fruition. Give him some time to sort himself out, and we will reap the rewards.
