I've seen some bad performances in my time but that was up there, he was shocking tonight

We have to replace him in the summer, sod all we can do until then so got to hope he keeps getting loads of chances and takes a few

But this is the thing, we're a team that create so many chances, and we can replace his contribution for very little. You can choose to look at his last 6 games in isolation, but watch him play, look at his entire Spurs career, and you'll see a glaring lack of so many attributes you'd want from a top level striker. To spend that amount on a player who just presses well and does little else is a bad use of funds.
This is the problem I have with him you could put Dier up top and he would score the goals Richy has scored.

But if you had another striker eg Kane with the chances we create they’d be in double figures as Son showed up top he scored for fun as he’s clinical

If Richy doesn’t do that amazing fuck up, Porro doesn’t score that goal.. A 1-0 win in a poor game with an average goal leaves a bit of a bad taste. A 1-0 win in a poor game with a proper thunder**** of a goal leaves everyone happy and talking about it. Genius from Richarlison.

Richarlison has been much better of late, not the case tonight against Burnley, not to write him off, hopefully a better performance in 9 days at OT.

To be fair to him, his performances have been decent recently.

I am putting this down as an off night. He was still working his socks off defensively but couldnt get going forward

To be even fairer the use of the word "shocking" is a massive heap of fluff from a Bison's gooch. It's lazy.

He was awful for sure. Atrocious even. Dreadful. You might even be generous and say Poor.

There are plenty of words but the way some people on SC fling 'shocking' around..............

Worked hard but like it or not we’re too accustomed to Kane and Son’s accuracy/ v high conversion rates

The next striker signing in the summer will be absolutely critical.

Looks like he needs a little break. Easy to forget that he had surgery not so long ago and played a lot of football over the last couple of weeks.

also should be doing drills to improve his last foot finishing

He’s an alright player, thats it. We’re not getting anything better this season so just got to hope he keeps putting the easier chances away but of course we need an upgrade, I don’t see how that’s up for debate.

Pace, dribbling, control - These are all weaknesses for Richarlison. Kinda reminds me of Pavlyuchenko

While we looked a bit disjointed there were some terrific balls played through for Richy and he really needs to do better.

Agree, he’s similar to Pav but without the ability to strike a ball.

I can't see him as our long term solution I'm afraid.

I expect us to move him on in the summer.

He was poor last night.

But he's been good in the League of late.

He's got goals, worked hard and linked well.

Giving him a complete pass for last night, on to United, 4th round and Brentford.

Lets see how he goes.

Not good enough IMO. I’d rather see Scarlett get some time to see what he’s made of. Richarlison just isn’t good enough.
Scarlett who isn't good enough for Ipswich deserves game time but the striker who scored 5 in his previous 5 games doesn't after a bad cup game?

Pavlyuchenko was way better, that man could hit a ball.

For me, he’s very poor and always has been. His ability to control the ball and hit it are so bad, it’s genuinely hard to know how it can be so bad at this level.

He scored a few lately but we all know he isn’t good enough. When he was through twice last night, we all knew neither would end up in a goal.

He is good in the air, presses well and is a likeable lad, but as a footballer he’s not at the level required for even a top half team.

Pavlyuchenko was a hell of a lot more assured in front of goal. He could strike a ball cleanly.
