Which better strikers are there out there that we could realistically get in? There aren't very many.

No, this is not a argument. Are we saying, there is going to be zero transfer business done in European leagues ?

We have upfront cash of 80m. If any club should be able to do it, we should be one of those.
And there are strikers around who are better than what we have in squad...which is currently nothing (zero).

If we dont go for a no9, then we got to go for a goal scoring wide player.

Overall, limited point is, we cannot go just with Richarlison.

As for as strikers who would suit the system and available within our reach - J David, T Moffi, Orban, Vlahovic and much much more.

Too many looking at Harry Kane as a reference to compare Richy to.

We are like an average looking guy who has been dating and banging a super model completely out of our league for the past 10 plus years. She left us for a better looking and more successful man. Our rebound girl is like a 7/10 and has a lot of great qualities but every time we are with her we can’t stop thinking about our old girl’s large, luscious breasts bouncing in our face. The new girlfriend will never live up to her.
I dont think I have seen anyone comparing Richy to Kane here. Saying we need a better forward than Richy isnt saying ,we need to replace Kane with Kane like prolific player. Some where in the middle is a great start and absolute need right now

I thought in the 20 minutes before he was subbed yesterday he had started to play well, and offered more at no. 9 than Son did in the last 20 minutes. His hold up play in the second half was good. He made the ball stick and got the ball out wide quickly. I was a bit surprised we took him off when we did.

Like Richarlison?

Someone better in middle between Richarlison & Kane is Richarlison ?

I dont get why this is so hard to understand ?

Richarlison is at present doing the bare minimum expectation of a Ange system striker...What he did yesterday can be done by Scarlett too. We need another forward. Period.

If we dont get it, its not because Ange told no, its because transfer committee took a decision to wait & see.

We can’t compare him to Harry with regards to his quality, you are right. However what does worry me is his fitness and the amount of knocks he gets. Harry rarely missed a game and always looked strong whereas Richy goes down far too easy and looks a bit flaky. I like Richarlison and feel that if he stays fit and can get a run of games he will be decent but we definitely need another striker.

He’s not actually had much of a sniff in these two games. Deki could have clipped one in to him yesterday but decided to shoot straight at the keeper. Little things like this should hopefully get resolved with game time tho. It’s then up to him to finish the chances.

Dude, half the board want to sign two players from the Danish and Belgian leagues who've played less than a hundred goals combined. Toney shits all over them in the proven goal scorer and being a better signing for this season.

I'm basing it on watching him for 2 years in the PL yeah, after scoring shitloads in the championship. Do you not reckon scoring that amount of goals in a newly promoted team and then 20 PL goals in 33 games for Brentford last year isnt a great achievement? His all round game is so good too, hold up play and passing and laying the ball off is superior to Richy. If he was on the market every top PL club would be trying to sign him.
I'd have Toney over Orban or the Nuamah everytime getting better and better but think there is question marks, that nonsense he did on camera about his Club to impress some tart on holiday and the gambling. Real poor judgement.

Though I don't want to see it, i do think the Richy experiment will sadly end on a sad note.

One goal in thirty odd appearances for us (and I know a lot of them were as sub), but did we truly see him hold up the ball, look for space, and create any chances?

Love the guy's attitude and aggression but i just can't see goals coming from him.

I still have faith that he will come good. Its just a shame patience is always on short supply these days. He doesn't look like he's hit full fitness and full confidence yet.

We are a team in transition and there will always be growing pains. Even as big Ange has been saying, it's about how we are improving as a team and the way of playing improving every week. Its going to take time, and I'm definitely a patient guy who can wait for the Richarlison to come good. He has hunger and passion in buckets and it will come for him.

This is not to say that we don't also need another body up front, we definitely need one more CF to take the burden off just Richarlison doing it by himself.

All I'm saying is, let's just get behind the guy, he's never going to be Harry Kane, but he can definitely be Richarlison and own it.

I didn't say we don't need players in. What I'm saying is that to get a striker 'better' than him is not easy. What I hope we do is get a young striker in who is ready to push him for starts who could become better than him.

All jokes aside though, I think Ricky will come good. His attitude is there and I'm not sure there is much better that would come to us currently, i mean i could be wrong ovbiosly.
