I have long wanted a new owner purely because to compete with the biggest teams you need to be owned by a country! It would be nice to see some genuine success and share it with my father, brother and children.

We are not in that position. We are basically a business, however over the years I have been incredibly frustrated at how a business has been able to seemingly get so many things wrong, whether it be transfer strategy, due diligence, injuries going on for far longer than initially believed and many young players leaving the club for nothing (or close to) to name a few.

This is the first time in a very long time it genuinely feels we have got our sh*t together on and off the field. We seem to have good people in key roles and things seem to actually be working. This must be coming across to players like Radu (in addition to the amazing man management of Ange).

If we are to be a football club business then at least we finally seem to a proper business with a proper plan! Long may it continue!
